Really impressed with the case so far. . And the most i got around too was to start the case strip down to get it inverted and get a feel for cable management, a little concerned about the lack of space behind the motherboard tray and side panel
  3. Nice write up, i will do the same for mine after 7 years of not being touched!!!

    New headset

i am not an audiophile but i would like to buy the best option
  5. Ok, but what about mounting, have you any ideas you can both share?
  6. Will the pump i have now has a screw to control running speed to be fair, its set it and leave it. cant be changed once installed as cant reach the grub screw. Its more a case of if i can mount what i have got now and make use of it.
  7. So i dont know if it will be worth me investing in a new EK pump and res combo or make use of what i have here, ideally would like RGB to fall in line with the rest of the build but not massively important. I would also like to save funds but i dont want to just be "Oh that will do" i am going for a similar build to this: so i need to be mindfull of how i can mount my current Res&Pump Combo Perhaps i can use a radiator bracket/mount and get some new RES brackets?
  8. Guys, I am sure most are now aware that i am about to buy a new rig with me forum spam of late! ha. I need some advice please, I currently have an MCP655 of around 10 years old (maybe more!) with an EK Top, one of these: there is no PWM/Tach on it, just power, i don't know the run hours etc. I have an EK MultiRes X2 250ML screwed directly into the top of the block, like this:
  9. Fair enough that is dude, thank you

    New headset

Hi Guys,I am about to buy the new Rig and one thing i have missed is a new headset, i have a G35 and PC350 that are both ready for the bin OR new cloth cups etc. So i can either make use of my Sony WH1000's OR i need a new headset. These will be used only for gaming in my man cave to enable the kids to sleep haha. i also have a Z906 5.1 kit so ill use both. If i have a cans with no Mic i will need a MIC too. GO'#1
  11. Budget isnt to much of a problem to be honest pal. £300 i think is more than enough for RAM, i only want 16GB,
  12. Hey guys, I am about to hit the buy now button on my new build but i wanted to check on the RAM, WHAT RAM would you suggest, i want B-Die i guess but short of OCUK Team 8Pack guaranteed B Die i cant be too sure. also what speeds shall i opt for?
  13. Shipping is free for me... i would also arrange free postage for someone else in the same boat too. A new kit is 70-100 bangaroos.
  14. Good morning all, I was thinking to myself whilst lay in bed last night. Would anyone be willing to hire out their hardline bending kit?, for those of us that dont intend to be using the kit a lot and find it a bit silly to spend a fortune on a few tools to get bendy! I am sure i can use a copper pipe bender or make some form of template but figured with a "proper" kit it would make things a bit easier. Obviously i will pay for insured postage and pay for the "hire" too. What do you guys think? Thanks Martin
  15. Thanks guys. Presume my sony wh-1000xm2 will be no good for me if plugged in ?
  16. What about my Screens? do i need a 144Hz jobbie?
  17. Thanks peeps, well spotted on Aria too. they are like 20 mins from my house! So what PSU we saying? 850W?
  18. Evening guys, I have found myself in Somewhat of a Predicament...I have this itch', no, not there! but more with my InnerRigGlands that i really must address. I have had my PC running for the best part of 7/8 years with the only changes made being HDDs, i used to be big into my PC Gaming and also dabbled in the OC world and benchmark stats but then my daughter happened and then marriage happened and then under the thumb happened ... well, its time i got my PC life back on track and i have been spending a bit of time gaming lately - i also use my PC most days for work, eBay "stuff" and the odd VMWare lab. I have bought BF5 and then after the fact realised i cant actually play it as my GFX are dated... ? and then having a mooch online i seem to have the bug again for a new project. I am a massive fan of the BQ 900 Rev2, I love the inverted look and really miss my Lian-Li 901. My Predicament, i am trying figure out what to do, IE, what i NEED to replace and what i WANT to replace. I have at the moment:Corsair 800DBeQuiet 1000Watt PSU - it is arround 10 years old P8P67 ProSLI EVGA GTX 570 (SLI Disabled for 3 screens)i7 2600K24GB DDR Corsair Vengance (2x4GB @ 667 & 2X 8GB @ 800)500GB WD Black M.2 NVME250GB Samsung EVO SSD3TB Seagate 1.5TB WD Green300GB WD RaptorCreative X-Fi Extreme Audio (has to be 12 years old)Asus Xonar D22X 24" Dell U2414H1x 27" Dell U2715H Logitech G15Logitech G13Logitech G9xLogitech G27Logitech G35Logitech Z906Sennheiser PC360 (all the cloth / fake leather has peeled off both headsets)Swiftech MCP655TM 12 VDC Laing D5 With EK-D5 X-Top (Pump must be 12-13 years old) EK-Multioption X2 250 Res2x EK-FC580GTX blocks on 570sEK-Supreme HF for CPUEK-CoolStream XT240 RadThermoChill PA120.3 (360RAD) - one of the orignal thermochills - 12-13 years oldLamptron Touch Fan Controller Assortmant of 120mm fansBitspower and EK Barbs All visibale cables have been lined with white insulation tape, made to length and wrapped in MDPC sleeve. Now, i know my screens are all 60Htz so it might be a case of needing to replace one of these too but that is another unclear direction for me. 19. So fellow tech people. I have always employed the services of a sound card in my builds but i have been out of the "game" for the past 7 years but now its time i upgraded my old beast, well a new build. What i cant decide on is if i get a new sound card, use my old one or go on board sound on the new CROSSHAIR VII HERO X470. I have at the moment an X Fi Extreme Audio and an Asus Xonar D2(X Maybe). Speakers are Logitech Z906, Headset's are Logitech G35 USB (So pointless here) and Sennheiser PC360 but i think ill get a new headset too. What do we suggest peeps.
  20. Perfect, thanks, i think i now know what i want, haha
  21. I will not be using all LL's i will have some none RGB Fans in under the hood too, unless that complicates things?
  22. Hello all,I am after a bit of help if i may trouble you for a bit of your time on this very wet Saturday evening.I am about to hit buy on my new build after 7 years, one of my (many) troubles is how to control my cooling. I am going to have a pair of 360 Rads running Corsair LL120's plus the chassis fans, I Suspect a total of 9 or 10 fans. I Currently control my cooling "Zones" with a Lamptron touch but ideally i would like to do away with that and have a software based fan control solution that i can manage in the same way, IE, Rad1 = Zone 1Rad2 - Zone 2and then the rest of the fans in single Zones. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. **EDIT** I would like to also control the RGB of each rad x3 fans in line, So Zone1 and Zone2 be managed
