  1. I used a creality ender 5. You would be able to use any printer that has the build volume for it. This case measures at 230mmx230mm x 390 at the largest part to print. You could also slice the objects and print them separately if your printer isn't big enough then glue them together afterwards but its not as clean.
  2. Specs: 5800x Gigabyte X570i 3080 strix 3866 CL14 gskill 980 pro 2tb 870 evo 1tb AX 1600i PSU Dual 360 rads for external water-cooling with quick disconnects on the tower. Single 200mm noctua for vrm/memory/other heat End goal for my setup is to get a new desk where i make a cutout for the wires and water cooling loop so that the PC stands up tall and its clean with nothing showing. Still need to make some adjustments to my printer especially for prints this large. Multiple failed prints and this is the best one i had so far. Small amount of under extrusion on corners and a little layer shift. Also still need to design a fan shroud And a solution to bring down themps of my 980 pro on the backside of the motherboard.
  3. Hello. I can't seem to access the dropbox links from your post in 2015:

Do you by any slim chance still have the files? It would be great If you could share them with me :)

  4. If you aren't going to use the mic on the game one then just get the Sennheiser 558. The game ones are just 558s with a mic attached. I also recommend the AKG/massdrop k7xx or k712 pro. I've had AKG q701 for about five years and love them and upgraded to the k712 pro when they bit the dust.
  5. Defiantly like 4k recording. The camera itself would still be awesome without it Alot better than my nexus 5
  6. Ever wanted that nice volume wheel on your brand new k70 to only control the volume of a certain application? Well you found the right post! alo it will work with any keyboard that has volume buttons/wheels. its not k70 exclusive but i wish it was built into the software. Only thing i don't like about it is that it will open the volume mixer when you first change volume. As long as you don't close it out or minimize it the mixer wont pop up and interrupt you any longer btw this is not my original work. I just adapted it to work better. Here is where i most of the source : http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/56889-application-specific-sound-control-for-windows-7-rev-101/ Script: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jnvv2omebcmu7u1/VolumeControls.ahk?dl=0 Compiled version if you don't want to install AHK : https://www.dropbox.com/s/kjwr4hzbdkxkdhz/VolumeControls.exe?dl=0 To have it run at startup in Windows8.1 put script/compiled version in folder shown here : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2806079 To change the application it changes the volume of find and replace all "Spotify Free" with the name it shows up as in the volume mixer. For example foobar would be foobar2000. To change how fast it changes volume find "{Up 2}" and "{Down 2}" then replace the number with how fast you want it to change volume. Higher number=faster but less precise changes. Enjoy!
  7. If you were to down sample 4k your best option would be 1080p because 4k is 1080p * 4. The viewing experience is all dependent on the pannel. if you have the worst 1080p panel ever then 4k down sampled would look better. If you are gaming on one of those super early 30hz TN 4k display then a 1080p 60hz IPS would be much better. But a 4k down sampled vs 1080p panel with the same technologies and panel types should be just about the same but you have the option to upgrade gpu later on and play at native 4k resolution and it would be gorgeous. and if your not gaming and just watching youtube and your internet can handle it even if your gpu cant handle 4k gaming it would look better in youtube/netflix at 4k resolutions.
  8. Username : mater36 Hardpipe watercooling: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0 And i cant decide over the storage and network video: https://www.vessel.com/videos/LCoY5zfFf or SLI Titain X: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy both videos are pretty insane.
  9. I like to use furmark ONLY for maximum temperature testing. I like my gpus below 85 so if it doesnt get hotter than that during furmark then i know it wont hit 85+ in gaming. i like to just test it while i go cook food and eat it. don't run it for long. under an hour is preferred because its a power virus as linus calls it. Now you are best using ACTUAL games to benchmark. i know for one that i could run valley at 1440 mhz but in bf4 i have some weird resolution artifact. just stick to games you play that are graphicly demanding. 2d indy games like binding of isaac and dont starve arnt going to challenge any gpu. i like to use Arma 3/2,DayZ Standalone, BF4,CSGO, and dota. Mostly because i play those the most and i want those to be stable. But i usually ignore dayz crashes because its an alpha and crashes at stock speeds even.
  10. Ill look into emailing evga for one. If not i think i can wait a bit to maybe upgrade to x99 and i really like evga's x99 offerings but msi is pushing it with usb 3.1
  11. Theyve been using the same connector i believe. Looks the same as on the 980. Just they haven't updated the website.
  12. I want to buy this little guy. I cant find it anywhere on amazon, newegg, and even ebay. evga's store isn't up either so i would have to wait until they bring it back. I want to use this to monitor voltages with a dmm on a 980 classified. Ive had to hold the leads up to the card and i would rather just have the header for convenience. they usually come with their motherboards and kingpin edition cards but i had no idea the kingpin was being announced at CES so i jumped and bought the 980.
  13. nvm. returned it already. hopefully the replacement doesnt suck as bad as this one. atleast this card could go above stock. old 6950 and dead didn't budge at all.
  14. Yea 4-6 inches is a phone with an iphone 5 at 4 inches and nexus 6 at 6 inches. personally i would go for a nexus 5 or moto x/g. choose whatever you like best and fits your price bracket in your area. you dont have to activate them if your going for an itouch kind of thing. i have the nexus 5 and a friend of mine has the older 2013 moto x and they are both amazing phones for the price. nexus 5 is in no way out of shape. still runs like a champ. dont know why google is discontinuing them because not everyone wants 6 inch phone.
  15. If i won this i would probably overclock it. that would be the first thing i do. second play some Arma 3 . Its a cpu bound mess of a game.
