  1. Hi I’m getting a pc mostly for gaming high demanding games will be getting a 2080 ti but.....do I go for an i7 8700k or i7 9700k I know there isn’t hardly any difference but I have seen them for the exact same price or do I pay the extra and go fo a i9 9900k Which I know isn’t much more FPS for the price what would you people do or choose or would u even pay less and go for an 2700x and is over clocking these cards worth it do overclocking a cpu make it’s life span less longer? Thanks
  2. No I’m taking everyone’s advice but it’s seems more complicated when you don’t really know much about pcs which I don’t so I’d just rather some one say this is the psu you should get then I can make an easier DecisionDecision
  3. That’s what I was think and you would get great use out of it because it would be more than enough if your were to upgrade your graphics or sli
  4. Yh well if you think what u would save on electric bills you can by buying a nicer and more expensive psu u won’t lose out or save any money but least I won’t chuck money away as will have a better pay to show for it and cheaper bills lol
  5. No I fully agree with you ...I actually like AMD more than intel in that just there packaging they make more of an effort and I like things to look sleek and cool as well as to run well as in they make more of an effort but I think atm intel is still better but I won’t be getting a gaming pc I guess until the end of the year as need to wait to get a buyer for are house which we don’t have and then once you do it takes months to get the sell and get money so I imagine I got till the end of the year hopefully no longer missing a gaming pc
  6. Iv always been an intel and an nvidia Guy although I do think Ryzen are getting a lot better there packaging they more of an effort but I think intel is just a bit better although and use to run hotter than intel iv seen a lot of videos and Ryzen is actually a little cooler in temperature but there not as good for gaming as an intel at tho moment but I have been thinking iv I did I’d get the Ryzen 5 2700x but you get a bit more FPS with intel and they overclock higher too
  7. Hi I’m going to get a pc built for me when I get some money come through I’m looking to spend around £3000 uk pounds on my system maybe a little more and I’m going to get a RTX 2080 ti GPU and either 8700k 9700k or the 9900k CPU but what is the best PSU do I need to overkill on a power supply is the gold platinum or titanium much different or is that just a waste of money I like to try and have the best of everything more is better but only if it’s serving a purpose and if so what purpose will more wattage and higher class do? Thanks :)
  8. The AD27QD that is one sexy monitor I like that Yh and the price is a nice price too thanks
  9. Ok that’s cool thanks for the reply what sort of cable would I need to support the 144hz monitor so do you need to have a 144fps to run 144hz then?
  10. Hi i don’t know much about PC’s I’m looking on buying a gaming pc running a RTX 2080 ti.....il be playing newly released games which are more demanding I’m a sucker for graphics so I will be running everything on max so I’d imagine I’d have around a 60-100fps on average ...I set everything on max settings as I always do lol but I want a gaming monitor that will run super smooth and look amazing but I’m not sure if a 144hz monitor will cause any screen tearing or lagging if I’m not reaching no we’re near 144hz or 144fps if that’s what it requires??.. so my question is what pc monitor would be best my budget is £1000 on a gaming monitor thanks
