  1. Quick question, I changed my PSU without any luck (-_-). Now I have only 1 stick of RAM in my B1 slut and it booted. Is it possible that it is my motherboard? It is fairly inconsistent but it seems that 1 of my RAM stick works better with one of my RAM slut. Both the RAM and the motherboard are from last fall though..
  2. I tried changing the surge protector and no luck, still the same problem.

  4. Hi, I have a desktop PC that I don't use too often and it has stop posting since 3 days ago. It's a fairly old PC but I rebuilt it basically from scratch last autumn. Only old (from 2011) parts remaining are 1 hard drive and the power supply (Corsair 750W). Otherwise, specs are: I7 8700K, Asrock Z370 Extreme4, 16 Gb DDR4 GSkill Flare 3200 mHz 14-14-14-34 3200C, EVGA GTX 1080, etc. Problem is everything was fine since the update in september. No problem whatsoever. Then I didn't use it much in February because of work and, 3 days ago, NO POST without any previous failing sign. It gives me 2 beeps which after googling it appears to be related to memory parity error. Tried switching RAM slots on the MB and it worked for a few hours till I rebooted. Then the problem came back. I ran Memtest86 and it found no error. I changed the surge protector and the problem disappeared after 1x unseccessful post. I'm writing now from the said PC. Can it be just that, like the surge protector? May this be related to my old power supply which could be failing? Is this really the RAM? Thank you guys for your inputs on the matter, Olivier
