  1. Could be worse, you could have gotten an ASRock board and spent 2 months trying to support to send you a non defective board before they company blocks you calls and emails. One of my buddies has a ASUS board that died twice, but was able to get it replaced, so despite support working with him and resolving the problem, that's two failures...
  2. Patents are good. The USPTO, however, is run by morons and most of the staff fired.
  3. ASRock has some of the worse Customer Service I have ever had to deal with. Inept at every turn. Sadly it seems to be quite common from the looks of things
  4. Supermicro occasionally sends me a product catalogue... Actually, so have a few others.
  5. Looks like a solid phone. Having had my desktop out of commission for a month, I've been relying on my phone for a lot of things. It's an iPhone 5, and it's really starting to show its age, battery life is way down, apps crashing, etc. I've been thinking a bit on upgrading, but the budget is what it is.
  6. Mice: Logitech G602 Mouse Pad: Corsair MM200 Keyboard: Cherry KC1000 Headphone: Apple Earpods Quite mismatched setup. Been tight on cash for a while but I think upgrading my audio solution would be nice. Keyboard too, but less so. Always seems to be something more pressing that needs to be done.
  7. Currently using an EVGA GTX 770 2GB. That 2 gigabytes of VRAM is really starting to hurt in modern titles. I have no brand loyalty and am always interested in seeing how other products compare.
  8. Very cool. Not sure exactly where I'd be able to use it my home, but we have a couple bare walls that I might be able to make work. Thanks LTT and LG for doing a giveaway. Good luck everyone!
  9. I have a Cherry KC 1000. It's a $10 membrane keyboard, but it is made by Cherry, so it could be worse. I'd like an upgrade partly because I like opening boxes of new tech stuff...
  10. I doubt my GPU truly qualifies, but I'll let you decide. 4gb cards came out about a month and a half after I got it; I probably should have just ponied up for a 780/Ti but I was recently out of a job. It's performed as well as can be expected, though sadly there can be a bit of coil whine in my particular unit. Spoilers to save space: Good luck to everyone and thanks @GreezyJeezy for the giveaway.
  11. I'd like the keyboard since the only one I own is a membrane keyboard worth about $10. I own 3 mice though, not sure how that happened. Thanks LMG and Tesoro for hosting this giveaway.
  12. Ouch, that hits my build as well. Guess that means I'll need to update the guide, which unfortunately resets the counter (I think). Dang it MSI! Edit: Looked up the contest rules Hopefully if they read the guide I have and I somehow won they'll see I already have a replacement listed. So there's no reason to update your guides if you have used the Sea Hawk.
  13. Just a reminder to everyone posting new links; Please go back through the other pages and check out the other forum members builds. Also if you're familiar with Github or Reddit formatting, pcpartpicker uses the rules. It can make a big difference in presentation.
  14. Speed, silence and size are the best reasons to get an SSD. Life is just so much better when you have one (or more).
  15. Just finished formatting my guide. Give it a look over and point out any issues you see. Thanks. https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/6Qwrxr/msi-build-your-dream-pc-guide-tuxedo I'll be going through and giving everyone here an up vote.
