Hello guys ? I have a quick question. As far as I can think after the latest BIOS Update on my ASUS ROG Strix X-470 Gaming for my Ryzen 7 3700X my utilization shown in the Windows Task Manager is a bit weird. Before the update or something else it looked "different" not that "spiky". The picture was taken when while I was gaming. Is this normal? Also I am confused because CPU-Z shows a BIOS Version of 5406 - AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.4 and Date 11/13/2019. If I look on the Asus Site () the BIOS 5406 shows a date after the CPU-Z one. Hello guys, at this moment I am pretty clueless what is going on. I am writing from my Ryzen 3rd Gen. PC with an internal Samsung SDD as an Boot Device with all the programms on it. Also I do have an WesternDigital internal HDD and a Western Digital external drive with several TB. Unfortunatly I downloaded some bigger archives yesterday on the internal hdd which then got to full capacity. From there forward everything just got super super slow. I tried to copy some of the files to the external drive. It calculated for minutes and then stopped after +30mins copying just a few gigabytes of the total ~500gb or so. I then tried to delete files from the HDD again but that also took ages. Also emptying the recycle bin which has several 100gb in it says rest time: more then a day. It takes like 2 hours to delete a 1gb file. I also tried to clear the recycle bins via rd /s /q <driveletter>\$Recycle.bin but this also takes on for several hours without progress. My internal HDD no longer shows any status on how full the drive is in the explorer and accessing it also takes minutes. And even deleting a single kb .txt files takes minutes. Hope you can help what I shall do first. Try to clear the recycle bin, deleting more stuff from the hdd, defragment the drive? I also set the sleep timer for the drives in the energy saving option to never. thanks in advance

Hello guys, at the current moment I am really helpless in the ability to find a new mouse and I hope you have some hidden gems here. I really don't care if it is a 5€ or "200€" Mouse. I don't need 2012041203 Buttons despite playing an MMO or like options for extra weight on it. It only needs to have TWO extra buttons at the side at maximum like 4. The issue is that I have hard OCD and I really can't handle and the slightest imperfection in like how my hand is on the mouse and how it feels. Most of the time my hand just lays flat on the mouse, sometimes sligthy the "fingertip grip type". But most of the time just palm grip. No joke but I tried like ~ 12 different mice for at least several hours up to a day but non of it came close to my current one. What am I using? THIS one. It is cheap, wired with a braided cable , enough DPI settings and does not need a stupid software - a basic fucking mouse I love. What I really like is that it is very wide and not as tall. It does not bother my pinky even after 16 hours of gaming despite my pinky touching the mousepad sligthly. All the other mice I had/tested were a.) for left and right handed people b.) very narrow c.) bad button positioning or toooo much buttons d.) useless software etc. Why not just buying the same mouse again? I could and I will but I kinda wanna go the wireless route because I also want to use it when I work from home and I don't want to crawl under the table all the time to get the cable. I know this will sound like rocket sience but yeah..... I once had a Mad Catz R.A.T.TE Gaming Maus which I also liked but this is on the expensive side, did only last like 1 1/2 years and isn't wireless which I would prefer nowdays. Hello guys, I really have no clue why my system is not runnung properly. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X | 8x 3,6GHz, 32MB L3 Mainboard: ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming | AMD X470 RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000 | 2x 16GB SSD: 512GB Samsung 860 PRO PSU: 850W - Corsair HXi Platinum Series | digital CPU-Kühler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 I had this now for the 2nd time in like two weeks. Completely random. It is most likely not load dependend or anything like that because I had much more load on the system on many more times before. This is a completely fresh windows install which is up to date. Same with BIOS, GPU Driver and all that. Even under my personal maximum load (Spotify, Discord, Chrome (few tabs), a Game and streaming) temperatures are fine. Both of the times screen went black, GPU fans ramp up, sounds massily stutters and I had to hard reset. On the first occasion it came back after several seconds. Today not. If I look in the windows event viewer and search for my hard reset which is marked has "critical" I only see the error that dwm.exe crashed somehow (xml below). Same time as you wrote I also figured it by just a factory reset. It wasn't the Picture Mode or something it was the Response Time setting which I set to faster. If you don't mind I have another question then after enabling FreeSync Ultimate Engine. In my Nvidia Control Panel I now can tick enable G-SYNC, G-SYNC Compatable. -Curious why I can enable the same thing for my 2nd Monitor which is an older 27" Samsung Model from 2015/2016 which does not have G-Sync or Freesync. -Specific Settings in the control panel are for G-Sync only? -It is recommended to disable V-Sync if FreeSync is enabled right? -Is it recommended to run FreeSync even if for example only reach 50 FPS in certain games.

hey guys, subject is a bit confusing I guess but here is what happened. I bought a Samsung LC27HG70QQUXEN 1440p 144Hz Dispaly. It is working fine and I haven RTX 2070 Super driving it. It is detected correctly and running at 2560 x 1440 and 144Hz as the Nvidia control pannel is saying. After I first booted the pc with the new panel I jumped into the Monitor Settings with the OSD and trying some modes etc pp. Now after a few weeks I wanted to try to run my game I play with FreeSync on and see if it works better or worst but for some unkown reasons some/many of the settings in the monitor are greyed out. This was not the case a few weeks ago. Like I can't enable free sync, change picture mode or Input Lag etc. I definetly could before. Don't know what this is causing. Appreciate any hints. Ah ok thank you. So if Power Limit shows 100% in Afterburner already I really can't do anything. Another Question. If I run OC Scanner -> Scan -> Test and Apply. Is it then applied all the time or do I need to restard Afterburner everytime I reboot?

Hello guys, looking for quick help or an answer. I tried the MSI Afterburner OC Scanner Feature on my ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Twin Fan. But I am not able to adjust the Core Voltage Slider. I enabled "Unlock Voltage control" and "Unlock voltage monitoring" within the settings of Afterburner. Is this maybe only doable on the AMP Extreme Edition from Zotac? thanks in advance kind regards

Ye really don't know how but after a reset again it "works" now. Before I installed windows again the only thing I did was reset and enable D.O.C.P I have not a single idea why multiplier x38 was set. offtopic do you run Ryzen Balanced or Power Plan?

What do you mean with reset Bios? Load Defaults? That is what I did already. I now tested something I went into Ryzen Master, then Profile 1 and did PBO Apply & Test. It showed an all core 4Ghz+ Ok then I went into BIOS enabled PBO, rebooted but still 3.8GHz even under load. I don't want to start ryzen master everytime i boot again....

I had this system running before and it boosted single core up to 4,36ish GHz. Only thing I did is load bios default and installed windows again oO I am really helpless right now what I could do.

Core Performance Boost is on Auto and I only could disable it.

I loaded "optimized defaults" before booting and did the windows install? Where should it be loacted and why do you have do manually enable something like this? It isn't temperature or voltages or something like that. I loaded optimized defaults or standard in bios. Only thing I enabled back is D.O.C.P. Temperature is fine too. It is cooled with an Dark Rock Pro 4 and sitting idle in the ~40°C hitting max ~70

Don't have Ryzen Master installed atm. Cinebench R15 is going for 1817cb But HWINfo while Cinebench shows only 3,800.3 MHz as Current, Minimum, Maximum and Average. Edit: RyzenMaster also is only at 3800Mhz

Hello Guys, I did a fresh install of my Windows having some problems. BIOS is up to date. (ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming). Only thing changed was enable D.O.C.P I installed windows from a USB Stick which I created with the creation tool. Installed windows etc and after first boot did a.) Windows Update b.) installed Nvidia Driver c.) installed AMD Chipset d.) installed the stuff listed on the Asus Website (USB, Audio, LAN etc). Now I noticed. Task Manager only shows 3.78GHz. Double checked with HW-Info and it also says highest clock speeds on every core ist exactly 3800MHz. Idle, doing stuff, even cinebech. Does not matter if I change the Power Plan to AMD Balanced or AMD High Performance Any Idea? Thanks in advance

After watching some videos I found a pretty similar setup then mine and he ran FireStrike/TimeSpy. I did this too and got pretty similar results FireStrike = 21268 TimeSpy Extreme = 4560 (Only saved Extreme, non extreme it was like ~9300) That is basically the same what the guy showed in the video. But still I am a bit concerned about those Gaming FPS in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I have an 1440p 144Hz Monitor coming.

Ye but PCIe4.0 even if you were running it would not make this of a difference in FPS in a game. But he is even running a B450 Board. I disabled PBO because of my other issue I have which I linked in OP. I can try and enable it again in the BIOS and see if it makes a difference but I don't believe it. If I looked at the Single Core Turbo while Cinebench is running I hit 4,366MHz. Temps of both CPU and GPU are within range i guess both of them not going above 70-75 C°

Yeah that is what I don't know which settings he used in the video. I watched it two times but I think he does not say it. PSU is a 850W - Corsair HXi Platinum Series | digital Memory is a Dual Channel runnung at 1500 MHz. D.O.C.P is enabled. Does the Power Plan matters maybe? It was runnung unter Ryzen Balanced Power Plan but CPU Clock speeds looked fine. Windows/XBOX Game Mode is also disabled.

Hello guys I really don't know if my system is running fine or not because this benchmark threw me off completely. My system CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X --------------------> cooled with bequiet DarkRock Pro 4 MB: Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming GPU: RTX 2070 Super RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000 SSD: 512GB Samsung 860 PRO Some Benchmarks below. The video He is doing 126 - 136FPS on the three Ryzen Models at 1440p. What I don't know and I watched the whole video is at which settings. As you can see on my Shadow of theTomb Raider I am hitting 82FPS but it is only 1080p at maximum settings. (Motion Blur off and DirectX 12 off). Nothing was running except GPU-Z and HWInfo. Weird but I don't really now the Shadow of the Tomb Raider Benchmark (Free Trial btw). While it was at it's lowest ~40FPS (the scene at the market) neither CPU nor GPU really hit maximum load. GPU was around 50-70% GPU Load). On all the Cinebench runs CPU Max Temp. is like ~74°C hitting shy of 4GHz all core. (It is also really hot in my room right now. Ambient 29°C) It was a fresh Windows Install. I have all drivers up to date and optimized default is loaded in the bios with only D.O.C.P enabled after that. Because I have another small issue (I really think something is off here.

Hello help you can help me further Turtle Rig As you said I loaded the Default under Profile 1 (applied & test). Never opened Ryzen Master since. Also I loaded optimized Default within the BIOS and ONLY actived D.O.C.P again. Next my new graphics arrived RTX 2070 Super. Still have the issue while watching youtube.
