  1. Hello everyone, i have a problem with my system, let me describe: - yesterday i was playing games on my pc like any other day, then i shutdown the pc. Later next day i pressed the power on button and nothing... my pc parts are: - i5-8600k - asus prime z370-a - 2x 8gb ddr4 3200 mhz (g.skill ripjaws V) - msi gtx 970 oc - kingston 480gb ssd - [psu] coolermaster v650 80+ gold - [cpu cooler] some cheap akasa air tower i open my pc up and on the motherboard is a led which shines, the PWR_LED after reading the manual i found out that the led represents (system is ON, in sleep mode, or in soft off mode) anyway i disconnected everything and tried psu first by following this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWXgQSokF4), after i tried the results were the same as in the video, i'm assuming that my psu is good. Then i tried to boot only with cpu and one stick of ram and nothing, then i took the whole system apart and assemble it back together and still nothing. Until i found the CPU_OV (CPU Over Voltage jumper, 3 pins and 2 are shorted with a ''jumper'') on the motherboard, by default this function is disabled meaning (pins 1 & 2 are shorted), soo i shorted 2 & 3 which enabled cpu over voltage, pressed power on button on the motherboard and BOOM pc starts up. Me all happy watching some ltt ;) video.... and Pc decides to die but it restarted and on the screen was (''American Megatrends'', setup to recover BIOS settings) i set up the bios settings (i only enabled XMP profile for the ram) pc then boots up normally and was working fine 10 mins then it died again, and now again PWR_LED is on but the CPU_OV currently does nothing (tried disabled it again didn't do anything, then enabling it did nothing)... any suggestions?
