cpu cooler is definetly needed even in bios, without it you could be running it at 100c in about 43 seconds (tested with my older 3700x)

no. that onyl means that parituclar kir has not been tested yet or never will be.

You can try to enable DOCP and manually adjust the DRAM voltage a bit higher.

if that does not work try to enabe DOCP and losen the timings.

Thor II is still PRIME, but its the "fixed" one. its still pretty loud, with poor heatsinks, but atleast it does not have any tripping issues, if that is what you want to know. its good psu, but not the best

*Well there is literally no reviews for the FSP unikt, and we do not know anything. The manufacturer can claim all of those, but I owuld not believe them without a review.

Corsair CV 650w is douple forward, but DC-DC on minor rails, so its atleast somewhat decent, there is also reviews for it.  Out of these I owuld get the Corsair CV

SavageNeo got a reaction from Stormseeker9 in What is your most stable settings for the rx 6800xt?
probably because the water block does not cover VRMs or VRAMs well enough, that is why you should only buy gpu water blocks that are made for the exact card.

i would go for 5700x since the board has bad VRMS and cant handle 5900x or 5950x. 5800x3d is also a good option but usually costs more than 400 dollars.

Edit: it may handle 5900x, if you have a good downcraft cooler.

SavageNeo got a reaction from Radium_Angel in Why Seasonic is considered a sketchy company by some of you?
Their communication with users is pretty bad.

They have lied before about their temperature rating. They claim 50C, but as soon as the psu hits 80% load, the psu rating drop to 40C, which is lying.

They have had problems  with high transient gpus such as rtx 3000, rx 6000 and amd VEGA, and some of their models still do, for example their "prime" series which is supposed to be high end. And the real problem here is that they never announced the problem, they knew the problem when the AMD VEGA first launced YEARS ago, and still have not fully fixed the problem.

Also their price/performance ration atleast in Europe and US is pretty bad, it could be decent on more rural areas.

They are also pretty loud for the price of them.

Atleast they have seem to fix the transient issue on their "focus" series according to reviews, but their "prime" series still seems to have those issues.

To sum all up, Seasonic is bad communicator, who lie about their psu's ratings, and overprice their units and do not want to fix known problems.
