I'm trying to find smartphone repair kit, preferably for iPhones, that have all the necessary tools similar to an ifixit's pro toolkit that is not as expensive as an ifixit toolkit. If there is a buying guide for DIY tech repair kits, that could help as well.

I have an iPhone 7 plus and the LCD is cracked and needs to be replaced. I have been checking multiple build guides and some give out different suggestions on certain parts of the repairs so I wanted to know if there is a tried and true guide to replacing an LCD. Note: The LCD over the selfie camera sensor is exposed. Does this require another sensor for the replacement or can the original camera be used?

I am considering upgrading my 7” Nook HD by replacing the CPU, RAM, and OS to be more advanced and able to take on more complex tasks. I’m even considering it to have the iPad OS after I upgrade but I wouldn’t be opposed to the new Android OS. I wanted to know if anyone has knowledge of this device and if such an upgrade is possible and is it cost efficient?
