  1. So l just build my very first gaming pc. But im not sure l did it correctly. Once i plugged the psu in, the gpu slots from the motherboard started lighting orange constantly. Then i went on to turn it on for the first time, and as expected, it started to do its thing, fans n all that. Then on the screen it said "New CPU. Press F1 to install" or something like that. Pressed F1 and then i lost hdmi connection. The orange light kept on going. Then i turned the PC off, cause l had no idea what i was waiting for. Thought it didnt work. Are the orange lights bad? Should l just have kept the rig on? Please help.
  2. What are standoffs? Sorrt this is my first time. Im a building virgin.
  3. Hello. So l just got all my components and i got the motherboard in. Then l decided to connect my case fan to the motherboard. But the fans cable which has 3 pins, wont fit to the motherboard. I cant find where the fan cable goes on the motherboard. Is it safe to run the pc without case fans? Or is there a solution? My motherboard is Asus Z370-P ii. Case is NZXT H500
  4. Hi there. I might have ran into a problem with my motherboard. The screws to attach it to my case are spinning infinitely no matter how hard i try. Only 1 out of 5 screws managede to fit. The case can stand up right without the motgerboard falling off. The remaining 4 screws are in. But not actually "in". Its just through the motherboard holes and inside the case holes, but not screwed in. So indirectly attached? Idk. Any help?
  5. 10% at idle sounds fine. In what software would I control this?
  6. So it will automatically lower fan speed at idle?
  7. Hi there. Im pretty new to building gaming PC's. So i recently bought all the components and Im expecting them to arrive in 2 days. The GPU is the Zotac RTX 2060 AMP, which i later found out, after my purchase, that it doesnt have the Fan Stop at idle feature. So my question is.. Does that mean I will hear loud noise from the gpu as if i was gaming, when Im just browsing the web? Or does it lower the fan speed automatically when im not gaming? Because I'd prefer a not so loud gpu when Im not gaming. This bothered me and I was considering returning the GPU and buying the Gigabyte one instead (Which has fan stop). But Im not sure, and wanted to hear what you have to say about it. Thanks in advance
