  1. Hey there been looking to upgrade from my phone camera to something better i see the "amazon comes with everything" under $500 but I have my doubts. I would like to start piecing together some of my wife's genealogy stuff together with video interviews of some of my older family members of times gone past. As well as doing a little local history stuff. So is it possible to do a review on cameras and gear that would be good to start with?
  2. My plan is to stream gaming as well as create videos for my local UAW union (Interviews etc.)as well as family & local history clips and re edit old family videos. So I am thinking I need Primarily a mixer for sound (Two Mics and other inputs) as a pre-mix then into the computer To be mixed with additional video/Sound and monitor everything from the computer. The problem I had with the Maono was It wouldn't let me do that I had to Monitor it with an ear piece from It and one from the computer and I had to guess as to what it would sound like. I would never know what I was getting. As to my hardware my desktop is as follows. CPU I5 2.7Mhz Motherboard Asus Z170-P RAM 32Gb GPU Asus 1660 Super
  3. Budget $100-$250 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for Streaming but also to do Dub overs on old family videos that I have been restoring Other details I tried using a Maonocaster lite but found it finicky when trying to use it with OBS or other Video editing software. I think what I am looking for is something I can run all My Audio inputs Mic's & other external inputs to a mixer do a Pre(?) mix and from there run it to my computer to input it as well as other sound clips (from my PC) in my streaming and video editing and Monitor all of it on my PC. With the Maonocaster It wouldn't let me monitor the end product live I wouldn't know if every thing was alright until my project was done. Any recommendations will be welcome!
  4. My mother (she's 80+) liked to play those online flash games she is beside herself that she can't play them is there any thing out there that will let her do so.
  5. It's probably a rip off but please guy's I would love to see a review on this and other things I have been seeing on Facebook... https://www.shopignite-gaming.com/products/ignite-gaming-chair There are things like Light sabres for $30 to "Gaming gadgets for ultra cheap https://titanpowerplus.com/pages/titancable / https://www.astoriacircle.com/products/rainbow-visor . It would be neat if you could get your hands on some of it and review it.
  6. A long time ago someone sent me a little game/puzzle. It was a Christmas photo of their family. What they did was take a Xmas themed photo ran it thru some kind of software (can't remember what it was) and it turned it into a puzzle of about 50 pieces. It would then turn it into an exe and when opened you had to put it together, It would be a stand alone and you wouldn't require any special program to put the puzzle together. My wife and I are coming up to our 25th anniversary and we thought it would be a cool way to send out invites. Any help would be appreciated!
  7. I was watching Jays two cents and he had rig with a screen on the side to graphically display specs from the GPU CPU memory etc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HaFdpcB3oI&t=6s how do you do that?
  8. Hi I'm planning my next build and I kind of like the Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-06 ATX Mid-Tower Gaming Case, RGB Black I was just wondering how well it handles air flow does anyone know of any reviews that mention it? I have looked but can't seem to find any that mention it,
  9. I'm looking for something to replace my 1060 3GB the GPU works fine but the memory on the card is Constantly Maxed out on most of the games I play or some times editing home movies. Otherwise, my system handles what I do just fine. So I'm thinking $250 - $350 Cdn I guess My real problem is I don't get all this 1060, 2060, 580, 590 stuff why don't they list it by GPU speed?
  10. Is there a comparison chart out there that will show the difference between GPU/Video Cards? IE: GPU speeds Power Connector Types recommended CPU and other info. I have been checking out cards and as I am a bit of a NOOB I think it would help.
  11. Between $300 - $450 CDN is my budget I have an I5 2.7 processor I have 2 displays one 32in another 21in both at 1366x780
  12. I'm looking to replace my Asus 1060GTX 3Gb card and don't want to drop a huge amount of cash. The processor handles the loads fine but the VRAM I'm finding tends to get maxed out a lot while gaming or editing a video. Any suggestions are appreciated!
