  1. Well folks its pretty clear confirmation that its my ram, i found out threw steam that has been crashing and bluescreening my game/PC that bad/corrupted ram is the MAIN thing that causes this issue - IE the game crashed and steam told me it failed shutdown due to corrupted data -caused from the ram... i didnt realize G.skill ripjaw 3200 mhz ram only lasts 2-3 years
  2. i think my main issue is going from a 750 to a 550 may not be good enough for my system tho right? Plus its been fine up until about a month ago, you really think a powersupply ive been using for a couple years just randomly went bad?
  3. well sadly checking the ram and it happened with all 4 of them all tested separately, and i just had a new bsod pop up ive never seen before as well dxgmms2.sys this is insane i dont understand why this is randomly going on now
  4. something to mention is *nothing ever has mentioned my GPU* being the problem....which *i really hope it isnt* but some of the crashes happen when i get a cutscene in my game, But than again i can be just standing there and it happen as well...its really frustrating not being able to just make things work, im usually pretty decent at fixing issues but this has Really stumped me
  5. Ah, yeah i can give that a go as well, takin out 2 sticks at a time and running with that could def help me solve the issue ! and my power supply is a Rosewill Hive Series 750W Bronze fully modular
  6. Pc has been working great for the 4ish years since i built it, up until about 2 months ago -maybe a week before valentines day never had an issue, till a couple of my games i play started crashing randomly and having fatal errors. I was really hoping it was a corrupted OS or something random, i wiped my PC...put a whole new Nvme in it for my OS. Sadly i keep getting different BLOD's messages, any time i play any video game *demanding* intensive or not, the game will crash after about 30 minutes, the most recent Blue screen was pfn_list_corrupt, i genuinely have no idea where i can go from here, How does a Person with moderate PC knowledge trouble shoot an issue without extra parts on hand to test, Also i cant afford to buy new parts for my PC *especially if it may not be the issue* I was really hoping it was just something software related that a wipe and reinstall would have fixed but that's a sad nope!. I've googled a few of the bsod's messages and most of them say it could be my Ram but nothing conclusive and more than not it says *anything can cause this BSOD* . As of right now i cant afford to buy new ram to see if that's my systems issue* How does any one else go about troubleshooting your issues without funds for new parts or spare parts ? I have to get a thumb drive someday so i can use *i think its called ada 64* to test my ram, until then i just have to keep putting up with a bluescreen every 30ish minutes. Other than the Ada test anyone else know of quality software i don't need a thumb drive to test my PC with that can maybe shine some light on my issues? 7. no SD card either, lost most of my PC stuff years ago *having a family and getting a new job, covid all has added to not being able to replace stuff/ harder times as most people are in tough times too .....so either i do a fresh install asap on the 120 gig harddrive i already have or use macrium or hasleo to copy it over to my 240 gig ssd and do a fresh install on the 240 gig drive, just a matter of waht i should do then
  8. AH never heard of macrium! ill look into it asap! i definitely need a fresh OS install for sure, is there a way to fresh install to the new drive ?
  9. a few years ago i bought a 120 gig ssd as my main OS drive, whelp i should have seen this day coming, the drive is way to full, with roughly 2gigs of space left, i am having bluescreens and many other issues-which i am not sure has to deal with the space but i assume may be the issue, i used acronis true image OEM years ago i got with my new drive to clone it over and all that good stuff. As of today i go to use the acronis tool and it doesn't work and acronis doesn't give support to plebs that have OEM version of the program, so no idea why it doesn't work and i doubt ill ever get a reason....So the dilemma i am facing *how to switch my OS to my 240 gig ssd i have WITHOUT a thumbdrive to do it with, i am kinda stuck at the moment and not sure where to go from here- i cant buy a thumbdrive either because IE-family needs to eat more than i need a thumbdrive ! any suggestions would be amazing!
  10. ill try that today and see where it gets me! thank you both, i hope thats all it is because i was worried it was something to do with my NVMe lol! ill let ya'll know if it works or not!
  11. Hey! i wiggled it and now it looks less noticeable, but is still there should i buy a new HDMI cord and see if that is it?
  12. that color right there is the color i get after i installed my NVMe Drive in the top left and side Main and up!
  13. i tried to get a good picture of the discoloration...but it just cant get a good picture of it with the camera i have, just imagine when your screen goes black either from restarting and powering up, it has this green tint to the screen it never had before i put in the NVMe drive, its an I7 6700k, 16gigs of DDR4 3200 G.skill Ripjaw, with a 1060 6gig anything else you need that could help? i wish i had better recording hardwhere, my phone just is blurry and makes it WAY more green than it really is !
  14. its an asrock z270 fatal1ty gaming k6, and the NVMe drive is a WD black 500gb, i put it into the top M.2 slot on the board and ever since then its had this fuzzy green color, ill upload a picture here shortly when i am done at work to show you!
