Levent got a reaction from Needfuldoer in ESD-safe motherboard vacuum cleaner?
Not gonna happen for <$100. Get a blower if anti static vacuum cleaners are out of your budget.

Levent reacted to VirusDumb in GTA 6 production falling behind, possibility of delay
Summary
Sources within rockstar of Kotaku are saying that the game's production is falling behind while early 2025 is still the current goal it's likely that it'll probably get delayed to late 2025 or could even reach 2026
Quotes
My thoughts
I think they should take their time, I recently played GTA 3 and then GTA 5 back to back and the difference in release date between those 2 games are almost same as gta 5 and 6, making an actual working game is big deal for studios now but it's better if they actually take their time to do so rather than rushing it out, it's not exaggerating to say messing this up will forever kill Rockstar's legacy, and whatever they make must change videogames forever again like GTA 3 did when it came and like GTA 5 did when it came out

Levent got a reaction from TVwazhere in Does this Titan X (Maxwell) Run Hot
Temps are high as expected BUT if you like the card, might want to replace pads and paste just to be safe (and maybe extract more performance). You can also BIOS mod Maxwell cards (and they overclock pretty damn good).

Levent got a reaction from sub68 in Student arrested after sending private joke over snapchat before boarding a plane, message was viewed by security as he was connected to public Wi-Fi
Are we still surprised about the global surveillance operations? My guess, a person at the other side reported the message. This dude fucked around and found it imo.

Have you done PBO/CO in BIOS? May clear up that headroom and let it boost higher. Worth checking.

Do you want to know how I know you didnt even glance over the link I sent you? This question is literally the first topic in "getting started" section of the link I sent above.

Levent got a reaction from bulkchart32 in why cpu cores sleep
Not every core is needed all the time. Its trying to conserve power, and helps to remove greta thunberg off your nightmares.

Levent got a reaction from Mark Kaine in What's the solution for the performance of modern games?
What is the solution? Dont buy games or refund them if you dont like its performance. End user cant do anything but overclock or upgrade their components.

I would have sent that back the moment I saw it.

Levent got a reaction from Bagzie in How to remove rgb from aio?
I think your GPUs are sagging terribly. Other than that, do these have 4 pin argb header or usb? You can either remove the argb header or control via software.

Levent got a reaction from Sir_Soi_Disant in Cooler master mastergel pro vs arctic mx4
Just use what you have. If your overclock/temps are within 1-2 degrees of being not stable then you might consider replacing it.

Media Player Classic. Foobar2000. You gotta join 21st century at one point, might as well try.

Levent got a reaction from Needfuldoer in How I can reduce Wi-Fi range ?
Why am I even quoted in this scuffed introduction to wireless networks 101 medium article?
Why are you coming onto a 2 week old thread making a whole bunch of statements which also include “I don’t know” and don’t link actual reading material from 802.11 for the shit you are trying to convey.
Reducing RF power of your router does NOT magically reduce interference caused by other routers.
That is precisely what everyone else here is saying. If you are managing an entire apartment complex sure it sure as shit makes heaps of sense, however not when default value of every single device around you is the maximum legal limit.

Lol "gaming" router in the wild. That just means you cant reduce the power output of your antenna low enough for your needs. Is there a particular reason for doing this?

Levent got a reaction from aaziz99 in Seasonic Focus GX-850 Questions/clarifications
I can’t talk about tier lists and I personally don’t care about any of them.
Seasonic for some reason uses Focus Plus branding on multiple variants of PSUs aging from 2015 to date. GX850 is the trusty worthy model number, rely on that.
I got GX650 and I have NEVER even seen its fan turn on let alone hear it. I really like it. It also has a button to enforce for even quieter operations.

Levent reacted to Electronics Wizardy in So if Hardware RAID is dead... then what? Level1Techs
Do you have a question? I think the video goes over some of the options, but it really depends on your workload.
I think calling hardware raid as 'dead' is a bit of a simplifaction. Software managed storage is growing, but there are still many uses for hardware raid.

Levent reacted to Shimejii in Motherboard GAMBLE Kinda paid off but im worried about AIDA64 Test. Or is it nothing?
that is one mangled CPU socket o.o And it seems normal, they can go up and down a bit, as long as your performance in games in fine and you are not experiencing stutters.

Levent got a reaction from Erik-TechPM in Another NAS/Plex Question
To be completely none of those things you listed is something that requires $2500 hardware. I got approximately 30 pods, truenas (with jellyfin and many other jails), couple of windows machines, 4-5 Ubuntu VMs all with 128G/R5 3600/GTX1080 on an mid tier consumer motherboard.
Check supermicro hardware too.
