  1. I am not sure if pre HD7XXX series cards have EFI compatibility. You would usually need to enable CSM and enable legacy vbios compat. Your motherboard might have messed up PCIE slot too.

Who here can solve the rubiks cube?

    I can
  3. Not really. Ubisoft Connect has its own updater, it doesnt need to be updated or maintained by a third party.
  4. Just run it in a ubuntu VM? Should be orders of magnitude easier than attempting to run that thing in freebsd and in a jail.
  5. You can fold flat cables on their own with zipties. You can also strech cables to cable tie points to make them look less shitty and make closing your sidepanel easier. You can also attempt to squeze motherboard EPS power connector behind it through the CPU cooler cutaway if you have one. Results in real clean look. Here is a little bit of an extreme implementation from my backup server, motherboard is smaller than usual so there is extra gap on the right side to even squeeze in 24 pin.
  6. Holy shit. Why ITX? 5 5.25" bay and ITX is a weird combination. I am not sure if there is a case that fits that description. 5 bays will be massive no matter what.
  7. Use Clonezilla to clone 500GB disk into brand new 4TB disk and manually move contents of the 2tb disk. Clonezilla is free. Get a M2 Bkey to USB adapter.
  8. You can change the static assigned address space range. I can change it to for example, 256mb or 512mb with my work L15 gen2 (1165g7). Other than that it can still use more than 512mb of vram when needed and there is simply nothing I can do.

    That's one way of securing DIMM-Modules in a RA…

Lmaoooo that thing looks like an overly “engineered” modified 3d printer.
  10. Shunt modded a "GALAX 1660S One Click Oc" with 4mR shunt. PCB was shockingly empty yet VRMs were decently cooled. I kind of wanted to go with the 3mR shunt but decided not to.

So far, total power draw is up to 145w, from 120w. Basically a %20 bump in the TDP, since this card is locked to 100%.

  11. Absolutely, as long as you have fans on things that matter (CPU, GPU and PSU) rest is fine with having no sidepanels. I have used my PCs for decades like that.
  12. Shout out to Arctic and Noctua for actually making static pressure optimized fans. My server and my PC collects so much dust on fan filters with P12 fans that I never seen anything like it.

  13. Can you raise your VDDP to 0.95v? My 3600 for example will pop and crackle with 0.9v but fine at 0.95v. As far as SoC goes, I dont think you are able to change it right? if not you can also set it to 1v to 1.05v safely.
  14. Eh not even. You can use a screw to screw the post in then remove the screw afterwards.
  15. I am not sure why but I have had issues with those even when I didnt even use PBO. Voltages my motherboard threw into them were too much. I have had this happen with R3 3100, R5 3600, R7 5800X. It was always these said voltages. I stick to 0.95 for VDDP and 1v for both of VDDG voltages.
  16. VDDG and VDDP voltages are known to cause problems identical these if they are too low or too high.

    BF2042 has reached EOL. https://www.ea.com/game…

Actually timeline isn’t as bad it sounds. Issue is, game is just still in a terrible shape. BF3/4/1/5 were all offering significantly better gameplay by their EOL. lots of promises were made by DICE none of which were delivered.

  19. Who would have thought that out of 18 disks I bought, NONE of them were brand new. I also had issues with 7 out of 16 disks I bought from one vendor, which came in 5 different manufacturers and 7 different models.
