  1. Greetings; So I fairly recently built a new gaming system. Works great and runs great. Though I have hit a little snub while playing a game, in particular League Of Legends. When I play LoL, I get FPS between 100-300. Though, every minute or two, it feels like the game dips down to like 30 FPS, even though it doesn't. Other games I have played such as Overwatch, have no problems at all. I had no problems on my other system which had a gtx 1060 6GB, i7-8700, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. This is a pretty minute issue but just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks for help/input! My current system: MOBO: X570 gaming CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Radeon RX 5700 8GB RAM: 2 x 8GB DDR4 3600
  2. Hi all! So my old system has a SAMSUNG 860 EVO Series 2.5" 1TB SATA drive as it's main and only drive. I was planning on using it in my new system. My current system already has a boot drive so I was going to use the Samsung drive as a secondary. Since it has windows on it, what would be the best and easiest way to format it? Can I connect it to my new system than format it from there? Thanks for the help!
  3. So it seems like I sorted it out. I went into the advanced power options, and under sleep, I turned off "Hibernate after" off and it seems like that worked. So weird.
  4. Hi all; So for some odd reason, when I put my computer to sleep, then start it up again, 2 of my case fans don't turn on (sometimes). It weird because sometimes I will put my computer to sleep and start it up 2 min later and all the case fans are running fine. Other times I will wake my computer up, a 1hr or 10 min later and 2 of my case fans won't turn on. I have tried to put a load on my computer to see if they startup, but they don't. I mean it's not that much of a problem because I just have to restart my computer or after 3-5 min of computer use they turn on. I am just curious about what the problem could be and if there is a solution to this. Thanks for your help and input!
  5. Yeah, I will see if I can move it forward a bit, but it think it will be alright. Thanks for your help!
  6. So I gave the Unigen benchmark a go. I used the Heaven software and used these settings https://ibb.co/t42YrL2 These are the temps I got; GPU temps: https://ibb.co/XpYG9WC CPU temps: https://ibb.co/JxScwG0
  7. So I should try to rotate the tube that is closest to the mobo, in front of the block/away from the mobo? That is the only tube that I have any real concern about.
  8. Yeah, I don't really want to know the worse case scenario, I just want to make sure that my system is cooling properly under some load. I will give the Unigen program a try a see what I get.
  9. HI all So I just installed an AIO CPU cooler in my system. The fit was a bit tight, in-terms of the tubes. I was just wondering if the tubes bend are ok. The tube furthest away from the mobo has some slack(ish) and has a fairly wide bend, I think that one is good. But the tube closest to the mobo is a bit tighter and has a greater bend, which is the one I am wondering about. Do the bend in the tubes seem ok? Pictures: https://ibb.co/fvsTh8y https://ibb.co/mHNhd5W Thanks!
  10. I didn't really have any concerns about them, just wanted another person's thoughts on it. Because for an intel rig, those temps would be fine, just wasn't sure for AMD hardware. For testing the load temperatures, should I run a stress test? Or should I use a more demanding program/game for a bit and see how the temperatures are.
  11. Hi all So I just a built a new system and was just looking at the temps. I am using the Radeon 5700 and the AMD 3600 for my GPU and CPU. My other build was in Intel rig, so I am not sure if the temperatures for AMD differs from Intel, so I just wanted to get some thoughts. Also, is it wise to run a stress test to make sure everything (such as the CPU cooler) is cooling properly? Here are some pictures of the idle temperatures; BIOS: https://ibb.co/8Mjx0jZ AMD software for GPU: https://ibb.co/5RmJW5f HWin monitor software: https://ibb.co/xYbCrZQ https://ibb.co/m6pBFrS MY build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3600 GPU: Radeon 5700 CPU cooler: Deepcooler captain RGB 240mm PSU: Corsair Cx650M MOBO: Gigaybyte X570 gaming X RAM: Corasir vengance LPX DDR4 3600 16GB Thanks for your help and assistance!
  12. Both my monitors have HDMI ports. So go with HDMI to Displayport instead?
  13. So something like this shouldn't be a problem? https://www.newegg.ca/tripp-lite-p134-000-displayport-to-dvi/p/N82E16812120613
  14. So I could use a DVI-D to HDMI, for one monitor, and then an HDMI/DVI-D to DisplayPort for another monitor? And I don't currently have any Displayport cords, but should I get full cords from HDMI/DVI-D to Displayport, or should I get the adapter?
  15. Hello; I was looking at the XFX Radeon RX 5700 and noticed the connectors for it, which it has 1 HIDMI 2.0b, and 3 Displayport 1.4. In what case would you use the HDMI port? Like I am running a 2 monitor setup, would I get 2 HDMI to Displayport cords? Or 2 DVI-D to DisplayPort cords? Any thoughts and suggestions would be great!
  16. So if I am using a 240mm rad on the top I would just need to add another 120mm beside it and then put the 3 120mm fans on the side or bottom?
  17. The problem is, that, I have read people reviews and some say that their cooler broke and such, others have said that it has worked completely fine. With customer service, some say they are not very good in terms of the warranty yet others have said that DeepCool was very easy to work with.
  18. I plan on using the Noctua NF-F12 PWM fans https://www.newegg.ca/noctua-chromax-black-swap-case-fan/p/1YF-000T-000D8?Item=9SIAB986J14109 I was going to place 2 on the side, 2 on the bottom as intake.
  19. Hi all; So I am using the Lian-Li dynamic as my case for a new build. I was planning to use a 240mm rad at the top as exhaust than I was going to use 2 120mm fans on both the side and the bottom as intake. The case can hold 9 120mm fans. 3 at the top, bottom, and side. Does that setup for fans seem like it would have decent air flow? Should I utilize all of the fan space? Another setup I was thinking of using is, putting the 240mm rad at the top as exhaust, then put a 120mm beside it as well, also as exhaust. Than 2 120mm fans on the side and bottom as intake. Thoughts? Thanks for your suggestions!
  20. Good to know! Unless one of the tubes break, then, you have a bit more of a problem. but hopefully, it won't come to that.
  21. I think I am going to give it a try. I think it is good looking AIO and I think it performs well as well. So if anything happens then I think I will switch over to Corsair.
  22. I like the green scheme. I have never used a deepcool brand AIO, so I am just a little concerned, especially with some of the reviews saying that their AIO's tubes broke. Doesn't mean that DeepCool is a bad AIO brand, just something I am considering,
  23. So I guess I would be taking somewhat of a gamble if I use the deepcool brand over a brand that uses Asetek.
