For starters, I'm a new(er) YouTuber to the scene and I am just getting a headstart on this gaming/tech area. I have some background knowledge to most of what I'm doing for tech and whatnot (Thanks Linus!). I haven't uploaded any videos for the reason that I am always busy and have no time to record a session, game, etc. This is just a short summary on me.

  1. I was watching the "Use your Gaming PC's Extra Power as a NAS Ultimate Guide" video and Linus brought up the "hyperthreading" term when explaining what CPU you would need for a desktop/NAS that supports virtualization. Now I was searching about the interwebs and was seeing that Intel uses this technique whereas AMD uses SMT technology. Can anyone give me a clear description between the two if there are any differences or if they are similar?
  2. A budget for me is roughly between $150 - $200, Give or take tax, etc. I don't want to pay too much for a GPU.
  3. So I was wondering, what is the best video card for a budget? I wanted to upggrade my build and I currently have a nVidia GTX 1050 Ti. *If Linus could make an updated video on this, that could be great.
  4. Well. This is my first message to the LTT forums. If anyone wants to give me any feedback as to what to change with my build, I'm open to recommendations.
