billabeasta reacted to filpo in Recommendations for gaming table build.
coincidentally, windows 10 can support up to 10 displays
not really, just having multiple gpus would be better
windows should already do that by default where you can cast what you want to display on each screen
Problem with your whole thing is idk if you can run multiple different games at the same time

Open disk management and unallocate another gigabyte from C drive and allocate to D drive. Make sure D drive isn't defaulted for downloads or installs. It's the Recovery Partition for Windows which shouldn't affect the speed of your system or C partition.

I think you have to repair the whole drive not just the laser reader, because the drive determine the unlocking key for the DRM.
You're best bet would be jailbreaking it and put the games in a external hdd. (illegal).

don't know if I can help at all....
Does it play any discs, games, DVDs or cds?
Does it make any sounds?
Is there any onscreen errors?
Can you tell if it the drive is even spinning up?
Wort case scenario would involve replacing drive with a. another with a spoofed hardware key to match you current board. Or swap the board and drive with a matching set.

billabeasta reacted to Slayerking92 in Help with laptop question, adding Optane or SSD swap?
Not a lot of free memory left either. that could lead to a lot of swap file usage, which could slow things down a bit on a spindle drive. Might want to look at that as an upgrade option as well.

I'd just get a 2.5" 1TB SSD (they are 100-120$), if you have a 1TB HDD, then you can use a SATA to USB adapter so you can use the HDD as external storage.

Im sorry bruh, but ur laptop doesnt have that m.2 slot to have a optane ssd, my best recommendation would be to get an ssd, crucial is the best brand as far as price to performance ratios go.
