  1. Hello, I hope someone have seen similar issue and can suggest fixes. I work for small company as admin and this issue happened to 2 computers in our company already - this time with mine. So instead of reinstall, I wanna understand the issue and fix it, as it looks like, it might be matter of time, before someone else gets this issue. Main issue - DHCP on my device stopped working. It is not retrieving IP address via auto DHCP. This happens on WiFi (tried 3x different networks, including phone hotspot all with DHCP enabled) as well as ethernet. No IP address retrieved. Using static IP fixes the issue, but that is not resolution. I have tried multiple things. Restarting, shutting down/turning on PC. Windows troubleshooter Uninstalling device driver and getting new version via Windows Update as well as Lenovo built in software. netsh winsock reset netsh int ip reset Trying to do ipconfig /release and /renew fails in /renew part. "An error occurred while renewing interface Wi-Fi: unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out." Stopping DHCP client service fails due to insufficient privileged (as admin). This might be due to security solutions, as without DHCP these solutions might fail to work. Both PCs are running Win 10 22H2 enterprise version with up to date Windows. Both PCs are Lenovo T14. Any ides where to dig for this issue are welcome.
  2. Thank you both for suggestions. I can try reuse my existing cooler (looks good, its one of few parts not 8 years old :D) for now, until I buy GPU. Any specifics on CPU Coolers? Never really tried to understand differences between them...
  3. Hello, Im planning to use a specific deal in one of local shops and they are somewhat limited to available parts. I would like to ask for advice, how my build looks like. Im looking for something, that will last me for multiple years (I currently run 7-8year old PC). I play some games, I also plan to learn new things and will need to run multiple VMs at some point. CPU: i7-10700k MB: Gigabyte Z490 AORUS PRO AX RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 32GB 3466 Mhz DDR SSD: Samsung 970 evo plus 1TB PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Sync 750W Case: Deepcool MATREXX 55 MESH ADD-RGB 4F Black Tempered Glass GPU: They dont have any GPU atm, I plan on getting RTX 3070 once they are more available (in few month) Does the build look OK? I also have few additional questions: I understand, that MB supports PCIe 4.0 and with CPU upgrade in future I will have PCIe 4.0 support (e.g. getting better ssds etc) Does built in cooling from case + intel stock cooler is enough, if I dont plan overclocking (at least for now) Is it worth getting i9-10900k or the difference is too small? PSU calculator suggested I should get 670 W power. Is 750W enough, in case I do minor upgrades in future, or I should get 850W instead? Its worth paying for faster RAM or something like 3000MHz will be good enough? Maybe there are other suggestions or considerations you guys can provide? Thanks in advance!
  4. Anyone can check my build and give some suggestions?
  5. Hi Friends, I have been out of hardware and PC building for several years and wanted to check with you all, how this build looks like and if there is some tweaking you would suggest. Why upgrade: Existing PC is getting slower and I suspect motherboard having some gliches (random restarts with/without load). Its been good ~6 years for my PC, time to upgrade. Aim: Have a good high end PC, that will last for next ~6 years without upgrades, that I can game newest games (doesnt need to be all max, but average). PC Usage: Regular browsing, gaming (GTA V for example, atm only Full HD monitors, might upgrade in future), sometimes I work with virtual machines and test some sh1t. Budget - I wanted to do 1500 EUR, but went over to 1750 EUR. Other notes: I dont like RGB etc, I want PC to look discreet and I usually dont overclock, stock has been good so far. Current plan (prices from local suppliers): MB: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO Wifi (I want Wifi and newest chipset, preferrable USB C connector for front) - 208 EUR CPU: i7-8700k (maybe I can ditch k, if I dont overclock?) - 443 EUR GPU: RTX 2060 - 430 EUR SSD: 1TB Samsung 970 Pro M2 - 340 EUR RAM: Kingston 16gb (8x2) 3200 MHz HperX Predator - 140 EUR PSU: Chieftec 750/850 W (They are ~90 EUR both) CPU FAN: Random fan between 30-40 EUR, e.g. CoolMaster MA410P Case - Chieftec Case Elox HC-10B-OP (It has USB C connector in front). Total 1740 EUR Would be glad to hear, if you would change some part to others and if so - which ones and why?
