So I have RTX 2060, on default fans dont turn on till it hits ~55c temperature. In my situation it turns on and off all the time, because that's the idle temp, so i was wondering, is it better to change my curve to something like this or just change it so my fans dont spin at all till it hits ~60c or is it too much? You could also suggest better curves if this one is bad (i don't know anything about this). Thanks.
I've made similar topic before, but to be 100% sure - will XL2411Z monitor connect with DVI-D Dual Link with this GPU https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-RTX2060-O6G/ to run @1080p 144hz?
Thanks, just want to be sure.
I have a cable like this one, right now it's connected to my GTX 960 and it's working fine with 144hz (my GTX 960 has DVI-I dual link input, that doesn't matter, right?)
So since I'm changing my non-DVI RTX 2060 to gpu with DVI port because my monitor XL2411Z doesn't have DP port to run 144hz, it doesn't matter what cable or whatever it is since it's DVI?
Will all of these will work, and which is the best one for gaming?
Gainward GeForce RTX 2060 Phoenix
Pny Technologies Europe PNY GeForce RTX 2060 XLR8 OC
Palit Xpertvision PALIT GeForce RTX 2060 GamingPro OC
or add extra 30-35 euros for:
EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 XC ULTRA GAMING
ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2060 OC
Thanks, just being sure I don't mess up since I have no experience with cables.
Looks my monitor supports only 1.2 hdmi cables only. I've looked up some DVI-D to DP active adapter reviews, and a lot of people are saying that they don't achieve 144hz. Is there a way to know if adapter will work and it's not fake?
EDIT: so basically it's risky and everything below 100$ should be fake?
I read that this monitor can't get 144hz through HDMI cable, don't know how true is that. I tested HDMI 1.4 and it showed that cable isn't even connected (i suppose because RTX 2060 has 2.0/2.1?). So there's hope with 2.0/2.1 HDMI and DVI-D to DP adapter (what adapter should i look for, I suppose not the most basic one)?
Damn, I messed up, noticed that my BENQ XL2411Z monitor doesn't have DP. What are the possible solutions to connect my monitor to RTX 2060 to achieve 1080p 144hz? Would DVI-D to displayport be possible? What is the minimal displayport version to achieve 144hz?
For example Bitfenix Formula 550W has 3x12v rails (mb,cpu, gpu) but 650W version has 4x12v(mb,cpu,gpu1,gpu2). If I get 650W version and use only 1 gpu, does that mean the second gpu rail won't be used at all? Thanks.
