  1. I know this isn't the issue, this problem happens with all USB ports empty and has been happening since the PC was first built
  2. I would hope not, all parts are only a month over a year old
  3. So problem is still persisting. Next to try is unhooking the RGB controller. It''s 5am and I've lost enough hair as is, I'll try again tomorrow, thanks for the help so far though everyone
  4. Will do, I'll give that a try. I have just found though in my USB settings that on only the USB 3 ports, the Power Management settings had the setting "Allow Winders to put port to sleep to save power" enabled. - I think this could be the issue. If that doesn't sort it, next I will try the RGB controller and get back to you. I really appreciate the help
  5. Actually, you could be onto something. I have a Corsair Commander Pro and Corsair LL120 fans. My Keyboard is a Corsair K95 so all are connected via the Corsair iCue software. If I plug the keyboardd into any USB3 port, the fans ramp upto full speed, the RGB effect crashes and everything running the Corsair iCue software stops working until it comes back on. I have however, disabled the ESD Protection and the problem is still occurring
  6. If something is triggering it this persistently, wouldn't it be potentially dangerous to the system to disable that? Surely it can't be a device if the issue happens with nothing plugged into any USB port
  7. I have recurring issue with my PC where randomly, Windows makes the sound it makes when you unplug a USB device, sometimes every 10 seconds. This happens even with no USB devices plugged into the system. I am pretty sure the issue is only related to my USB3 ports as anytime it happens, all devices in a USB3 (both case and MoBo ports) port crashes and resets after 6ish seconds of it happening., while anything plugged into any other USB port works fine. If I am playing a game when it happens, it causes the game to force close, sometimes results in a BSOD. This has been an issue ever since I built the system and have tried to rule out as much as I can. Tried BIOS updates, chipset driver updates, windows updates, GPU driver updates and it still persists. System Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 64 GB G.Skill Trident Neo @ 3600 MHz Asus PRIME X570 Pro - BIOS Version 2816 Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super OC Edition Corsair RM850x Windows 10 Home 64 bit version 2004
  8. I appreciate the tips, I'll give it a try I wouldn't be surprised if it is ram, it was a nightmare getting it to run at it's rated speeds as is
  9. Sadness, my biggest fear :c I have so many things on the main drive I really don't want to have to reinstall lol
  10. I have prepared you a dump if you would like. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5ceajtc09fuwzfj/AACnzo1HCpQsZNEpft1jLKH2a?dl=0 Simply put, the list of blue screens is tremendous and there's no way I could list them all without missing some.
  11. I had a recurring blue screen issue with my new build and this blue screen specifically came up. For me, the issue was Ram related. It both was being undervolted by the board and was loading up the wrong Ram profile. I still get some issues with blue screens when doing GPU intensive tasks, but that one specifically, not anymore. I remember, when trying to fiox this myself, that I found someone with an identical issuem who claimed that deactivating Windows Defender fixed the issue, I tried it and haven't had even 5% of the Blue Screens I was getting prior. Trying deactivating Windows Defender before getting your GPU drivers etc.
  12. I do have a recurring Blue Screen issue also which I've never considered is related to this issue, where I get random blue screens, very rarely the same ones. They seem to happen at any time, no matter what I am doing, however. A game crash to desktop has never cause a blue screen. Games can run stable for hours and hours at a time, then just terminate out of the blue. Other games, it's far more frequent.
  13. Hello all. I apologise if this is in the wrong forum space, I'm not exactly sure what's causing my issue, but I feel it's likely a GPU one as it's related to gaming. No matter what game I play, the game randomly just... force closes without warning. I never get bugs or error messages, it just terminates. The range of games go from Path of Exile which gets intense to run, to light games like League where this occurs. Only very light games cause no issues at all (old re-releases of PS1 titles etc). I'm currently running: AMD 3900X Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super 64 Gigs G.Skill Trident Neo Ram Windows 10 64 bit. I regularly make sure drivers are upto date, no current updates are being found that I can think would cause this, PC is relatively new (under 1 year old). When running Afterburner, the GPU never gets above 45 degrees in any game I run. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how I'd go about fixing it?
  14. Cheers for the quick responses folks, I'll give this a try when I get home and report back
