It actually is really easy :-)
You go into the bios go to exit bios and then there is an option for advanced version of bios!
All the settings you need at start are within the AI Tweaker Tab

Select AI overclock tuner to Manual.
    Leave Bclk frequency to 100
Turbo Ratio (by all core)  leave this one default.
Then you have the by all cores (can adjust in os) and then a number, this is your multiplier setting! You are gonna OC this set this one at 40 first. (this is gonna make your cpu speed 4ghz)
    Scroll down then
Set Load-line calibration to high or very high or whatever!
    Set phase control to extreme
Cpu voltage to manual, enter 1.3 volts
Save settings reboot, you should now boot into windows, imidiatly look at your temperatures with a program like Core temp or Real temp. the core temps should not go above 75c (the max is 98c but for me personally 75c is a good limit)
To test if this is stable download prime95 and run some tests. Make sure your temps stay below the 75c If everything keeps cool and shizzle, time to reboot and put the multiplier which is at 40 now to 41, continue till you get BSOD's or other unstable things.
When it isnt stable you can try increasing the voltages, though make sure your temps are good, i have no idea how good your cooler is and what voltages you should try, but i think 1.3v is a fair voltage to start with. but you can go up to 1.35 if your temps allow it. I will post my settings later, though its on a 2500k

EDIT - Remember these are my settings and are for a 2500k, you can probally run the same things but then with more voltage so i suggest you follow what i said. also make sure your temps are good. I am using a H100 with SP12 fans on it from corsair.
