As title suggests, i'm trying to undervolt / use pbo limits on my 5800x since temps are a bit higher than i'd like. But in my BIOS i can change PBO settings in 2 places, "motherboard settings" and then theres at tab just called "overlocking" Just wondering which one i should be using or both. Mobo is a MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK

Error: 0xC0000001 I can't really see anything that would have caused the freeze. Most of them are just from the forced restart, i think? Considering all my hardware is brand new excep the gpu, could the gpu be the cause? Though the gpu is only a few months old too

Got 1 freeze today, and it was super late at night this time. Noticed stuff slowly stopping to respond. opened HWmonitor and task manager to see if i could see smth in there which might have been the casue. But HWmonitor had completely stopped to update all the info same with taskmanager. I was able to click the turn off / restart button but neither would do anything. Was able to get into the lock screen with Windows key + L, and in there i was able to hit the shutdown button but it was just stuck in an endless loop, with the loading circle thingy..... If anyone has any idea what is causing this then please please please let me know.

Another small update which i kinda of just thought about. I've had 2 freezes since i got the pc. Both where just a couple hours or less after first boot of the day so i'm curious to see if i freeze again tomorow. I'll keep this updated.

Only thing i installed to monitor stuff was HWmonitor. But that doesnt run in the BG

Hello! As the title suggest i just built a new system for the first time a few days ago and have already experienced 2 freezes. Both freezes occured within an hour or 2 of first startup and both happend while being on youtube. Chrome kind of stopped responding and wasnt allowing me to close it down. Moused over the icons in task bar and they would highlight as usual but not do anything. Few seconds later those also stop responding and the PC just freezes completely forcing me to restart. On the second freeze i tried restarting monitor and that just led me to a black screen instead. No blue screens, mouse worked for abit. Its like, everything slowly stops working before its all just frozen. Don't think sound was working as i pressed my screenshot key which usually comes with a little sound notification saying its been uploaded. That might have just been keyboard not responding though. I've downloaded Drivers for AMD chipset, GPU all my peripherals etc. I've made sure temps are fine. I just dont really know what more i can do or try. XMP is enabled. I plugged all my fans into the FAN hub on the case, and then the fan hub into my cpu header. while keeping the pump plugged into the pump header. (Temporary as i ordered a Y splitter to split them up, radiator fans on cpu, case fans on fan hub. ) Not sure if its my old gpu thats causing the problem or if i did something wrong while building the pc. My old pc did have games crash which leads me to believe this might be my gpu? but i really dont know anymore.... I'm just supre frustrated considering i've been saving up for 5~ years to buy smth that still doesnt work as intended. Not sure if this helps but the only software i have installed righ now are: Google chrome, discord, steam, league of legends, csgo, apex legends, faceit anti cheat, esportal anticheat, osu!, HWmonitor, cinebenchr20, streamlabs. Please help me. The fan hub and all fans it says in the manual tho to connect hub to cpu or sys fan

Cpu header is 2A 24W Radiator fans 0.2 A * 3 = 0,6 1.32 W * 3 = 3,96 3 rgb fans, 0.1A * 3 = 0,3 1.2 W * 3 = 3,6 1 stock fan, doesnt say but prob same as others. So 0,9 A and 7,56W Also do you mean that the SATA pushes 4.5 amps into the cpu header???

Hello! Just build my first pc and realised i did not have a fan splitter for my 3 fans on AiO but i do have a little fan hub built into my case which is powered by SATA ( Fractal design meshify 2 ) Which i plugged all 3 into it and then the hub into cpu header. What im worried about is that my 4 case fans are also plugged into that hub. Which means i have 7 fans connected to the cpu header. I read the mobo manual and made sure all fans were under the max power and stuff but i just wanted to double check if this is safe to do, or will cpu header burn out. Only negative thing with this seems to be that all fans speeds are adjusted based on cpu temp

Yea ur right. I guess i kinda went overkill since i could finally afford to get a pc that looks good. My entire life has been me using shitty used pc’s which always broke after a year or 2 But in that case is there any AiO you would recommend over the Z63?

I’ll be getting a 5800x This will be my first build and being able to put gifs and stuff on there sounded super cool

So i’m currently picking a cooler for my new build and decided to go with the nzxt kraken z63 However after some research ive found alot of posts saying the AiO blocks some of the RAM slots. So i’m just wondering if the cooler and ram will fit, I will mount rad on top. Watched GN review on the case and he pointed out RAM clearance which is why i wanted to double check.
