  1. Thanks. I will take a look. Though regardless, I am curious now just what sort of cooling situation there is with the Area 51 and two RTX cards. Maybe that is worth a video?
  2. That is good to know, though how can you know for sure when ordering a card you aren't ending up with one of the bad ones that still might be sitting out there from the bad batch? Did they recall them all or do something else comprehensive to get all of them out of circulation?
  3. Have you seen the Area 51 case? My last machine, from about 4 years ago, is one, and it is a rather nice design, I think, as far as cases go. Seems like it is good for cooling inside the case as well as access. I am hesitant to build my own system - money is less of an issue - time is more of an issue, and I also would rather have someone else build it, burn it in, and make sure it all works before sending it to me.
  4. What is the current status with the RTX 2080 card and its failure problem. Is it safe to buy one of those cards now? I generally have gotten my systems built from Dell (Alienware now, Area 51) and the high end system there is an 11GB RTX card, but I don't want to buy it and then have it fail a few weeks later with a dead video card. Moreover, there is an option to have TWO RTX cards on there, 11GB, and while that sounds nice on paper, I wonder just how well that will work in terms of cooling, as I have read that the RTX 2080 cards with multiple fans are not good for having more than one in a case unless you do it extra-special right. I wonder if you could do something to determine just how well the cooling works in the Area-51 with two 11GB RTX cards - I mean, the case looks like it is sizeable, and thus perhaps good for in-case cooling, but it is difficult to trust that Dell will set that up right. Really, I would have bought one of those by now if not for being so unsure first, if the RTX cards are safe to buy now, and two, if one could really do two in a case. (It may seem obnoxious to do two, but hey, I like to go all out when buying a new uber-system, which I do about every 5 years).
