  1. Hi! i have a logitech MX518 (the old one) and it stops working randomly for 1 second or 2 then it works again. As you may think, this does playing FPS (and games in general) really, really hard. I already updated drivers, installed Logitech's software, and nothing worked. My Pc: Windows 10 PRO 64bit SteelSeries Mouse pad, a cloth one. Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Could you lend me a hand? Thank you very much!
  2. Hi, i'm looking for help here in the forum because nothing seems to work. Let's take out of the way my specs: i7 3770k @4.2Ghz paired with a Thermaltake Frio OCK Asus P8Z68V Pro Gen3 Nvidea GTX 1060 3Gb Asus Phoenix 16Gb RAM DDR3 @1333Mhz 500W Powersuply 1 500Gb HHD and other 2Tb HHD. Well, i have been playing mostly Apex Legends for the past months until it just started running really badly. i usually got around 60 to 100 fps all in low @1080p, when suddenly, one day, it just stopped being that way. i started to get just 30fps or even lower with no parent reason to why. Bothered by this i opened MSI Afterburner to check if my components were overheating and, by consequence, throttling: my CPU was around 50°C to 60°C and my GPU reached 70°, nothing wrong here. But i noticed that my GPU and CPU usage wasn't going up more than 40% to 50% even if i capped the game to 60fps or used V-Sync. i already tried everything i know, deactivated firewall, widows defender and all overlays, reinstalled the game, pulled out the GPU from the PCIe socket. Nothing. Restarted PC. Nothing. I even DDU'd GPU drivers and reinstalled not only the newest ones but older ones too. NOTHING. i'm in a lost of options and don't know what to do, please help me. Ah, just FYI, i'm not a native English speaker so i can mess up my writing a lot, thanks for understanding. [I CAN'T UPLOAD AN IMAGE, SO I'LL JUST WRITE DOWN MY MSI AFTERBURNER DATA HERE] GPU: 59°C, 36% MEM: 2603 MB CPU: 63°C, 43% RAM: 7462 MB D3D11: 30 FPS
  3. I'm having trouble with changing channels: My RE200 is working in channel 40. My Technicolor router in channel 52. The range extender doesn't have the option for changing the channel and my router can't go lower than 52! any help?
  4. I didn't do it in purpose, I didn't know about wireless technology, I just know what my router and RE displayed. Sorry I guess.
  5. My WIFI router displays AS DEFAULT Wifi5.8Ghz... i'm not making this up 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz WiFi What is the difference between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz WiFi? Today, we will be discussing the differences between the two wireless frequencies and when to use them. When someone refers to a device as being dual-band, the term indicates that the device has the capability of broadcasting both a 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency. The 2.4 GHz radio runs on a lower frequency between 450 Mbps or 600 Mbps. The 5.8 GHz radio can support up to 1300 Mbps. That’s a pretty big difference in wireless speed. Most devices in your home, including cordless telephones, Bluetooth devices, garage door openers and even baby monitors, run on the 2.4 GHz frequency. The 5.8 GHz frequency, which is a newer standard, is not commonly used in these devices so, dual-band routers are less likely to see interference, from common household devices and access points, on the 5.8 GHz frequency. When multiple devices or access points attempt to use the same radio space, overcrowding occurs. The 5.8 GHz band tends to be less crowded than the 2.4 GHz band because fewer devices use it and because it has 23 channels for devices to use, while the 2.4 GHz band has only 11 channels available. The number of channels that are available to you depends on the regulatory domain for your location. Here are a few facts about each frequency: 2.4 GHz Majority of devices use 2.4 GHz Has the greatest distance Can be crowded because of so many users (may affect speed) May get interference from other devices running on the same band (i.e. microwaves, cordless phones etc.) 5.8 GHz Smaller area of coverage, but usually better speed Many devices do not have 5.8 GHz available Best way to achieve optimum WiFi performance Less range may require more access points for large areas Can cause connection issues if all devices are not running on 5.8 GHz Preferred for gaming and file streaming because of speed Here are a few more facts regarding dual-band devices: 802.11g = the device will only operate on 2.4 GHz 802.11n = the device will always operate on 2.4 GHz and some may operate on 5.8 GHz 802.11ac = the device will only operate on 5.8 GHz802.11n is currently used in most devices. Newer devices that use 802.11ac typically offer the option to use 802.11n as well.
  6. Yes, i was always up to date, until i downloaded YouTube Vanced
  7. Hello, as the title says, my TP-Link RE 200 doesn't detect my 5.8Ghz network. Weird thing is: i can connect my phone to my 5.8Ghz network while being next to the repeater. Any help?
  8. Hello, as the title says, my YouTube app keeps crashing every time, like, always. I use YouTube a lot and i experience like 20-25 crashes per day... most of the time happens when scrolling down in the comments. I installed YouTube Vanced (root version) thinking it may solve the problem, but no, it did not. Help!!
  9. Yes, but my problem isn't lag itself (doing ping to the Sv's Ip results in a latency of 50ms) but lag spikes, for example, if i open a door and enter a room after 1 second i'll be outside the same door. So annoying.
  10. Hello, i'm running my PC wireless with an TP-Link wireless to cable adapter. I'm experiencing lag spikes in CS:GO and Apex Legends, making it really hard to enjoy a game. Can you give me some tips to troubleshoot my connection?.
  11. Hi, i have a ID-Cooling Frostflow 240L cooling my i7 3770k OC@ 4.2 GHz. My temps are: 40~35 C° Idle 70~65 C° While gaming (60-80%) 90 C° While in Prime95 My thermal paste is the Artic cooling Mx-2. EDIT: Room temperature 27~30 C°
  12. Sadly, in my country, SSD's prices are too high. a while ago i had in mind buying a SSD but it's out of reach, taking account that i need a 512GB one (i have occupied in my actual HDD like 350GB)
  13. Hello, as the title says i'm thinking that my PC isn't performing as it should be: I started playing Apex Legends at 1080 a week ago and it bothers me that i can't go higher than lowest setting because my frames drops under 60fps. My specs are: i7 3770k @4.2GHz paired with a ID Cooling Frostflow 240L Asus P8z68 V-Pro/Gen 3 GTX 1060 3Gb 16Gb RAM @ 1600Mhz 500 Watts CoolerMaster power suply 2HDD's one for the OS and the other for games and programs Also: It seems like i can't reach 4.5Ghz stable with even with 1.35V, am i just the unluckiest man alive or is there any problem?
