You make a good point here , however , this too has a silver lining.
It was auctioned off for charity (where people tend to buy stuff they normally wouldn’t) , to me that makes a difference to outright selling it.

While I'm sure the OP was well-intentioned, this is neither the time nor place to start a debate on gender diversity. The topic quickly diverging in to an argument about transgender issues and following discussion about moderation has only further derailed discussion. I do not believe it would be possible to get the topic back on track without some heavy-handed moderation and removal of a large portion of the comments, which would likely only exacerbate the latter issue. For the sake of transparency none of the posts in this thread have been removed.

 
In regards to forum moderators being involved in discussions; our standard practice is to exclude ourselves from being involved in any moderation related to topics we have participated in. The forum moderators are volunteers who have been chosen from the community, and we encourage moderators to continue engaging with the community and sharing their own personal opinions. Historically this approach has been understood and appreciated by the community, however given the current circumstances and the influx of new members in the community I understand that people may not have the required trust in the moderation team for this to be possible. I will be discussing with the moderation team the importance of remaining impartial and how people may perceive their participation in these controversial topics.

When all this popped up I went to look up where A******* had been and found out about her transition. I then went on the website and saw her name posted with a pic as a current employee. I want to believe Madison feels she really was harmed, but I also look at the retention rate of quite a diverse staff and think maybe I will give them the benefit of the doubt until the investigation is done. I think all women should be believed and heard. I dont believe everyone accused should be lynched without a trial.

Personally, I think we should just be sticking with the facts of what has been brought forth so far. I don't see any benefit to extrapolating things out to include people who haven't alleged any wrongdoing.

I agree. The subreddit mods have a different idea apparently. 

They made dumb sponsor and sex jokes in the apology video this morning for the issues pointed out by GN, so I can't say I'm surprised someone would make a joke during a behind-the-scenes meeting that was inappropriate for the situation. 
 
Not, by itself, damning. Just poor taste. I think there's probably a pervasive culture of this kind of "That's what she said" "banter" at LMG to the point people don't have a sense of when they should pull it back.
 
That is not to say that "banter" is all that happened in the incidents Madison is talking about, although if that kind of culture is really pervasive it can enable people who are actually predatory because they can hide behind "I was just joking like always."

I'm sorry but this is a pretty broke take. Not everyone who faces a hostile workplace or sexual harassment at work files a lawsuit, nor does not filing a lawsuit mean definitively that it didn't happen. Victims of workplace or sexual harassment often don't file lawsuits (sometimes, complaints internally - Madison said there was no process because upper management at LMG controlled HR and ignored her complaint taking no action on them) because they fear retaliation from the current or ex-employer, or others (which, given the content of this thread, was totally justified in Madison saying she feared the fanbase harassing her, sending her death threats, and attacking her character).

If these were easily dismissed matters, Terren Tong as LMG CEO would not be hiring a third party investigator to get to the bottom of things. 

The investigation will get to the bottom of things, in the course of some time.

You have to pay lawyers...
 
Even if this gets resolved, you are unlikelty to "see some legal documents".

This is a REALLY bad take. Assuming she is telling the truth some of the allegations are absolutely horrible to the point she claimed she hospitalized herself by cutting open her leg because that was the only way she could leave.

I don't trust her at face value, but if she is telling the truth I don't want to be the one to dismiss her. We need evidence.

Expecting a 19 year old who thinks she's under NDA to hire a lawyer and build a case against a multi million dollar company for workplace abuse is a bit far fetched. 
Not to mention she was in a foreign country, 2000+ miles away from her parents with no support network. 
 
In hindsight we could all go back to when we were 19 and rewrite our history with what we should've done but let's be real, there's no handbook or guide out there on how to handle being sexually harassed at your dream job and having to decide if you should make it public or keep your mouth shut because it might affect your career. 
 
Her career was obviously going to be as a content creator, LTT viewers going after her if she came out at the time could've been devastating.
