  1. Well, I spend my working days supporting my employer's IT and so that often means fighting with MacOS or Windows when something breaks or won't install in addtion to setting stuff up so it kind of made sense. Plus my imagination is flagging at the moment.
  2. Assuming you've followed PrinceNorris' advice and it's still stuffed, it might be worth simply trying to restart your router (remove the power for a good two minutes, plug back in and wait for lights to stabilise). In the past I've seen this work before even when all other devices on a home LAN appear to be working ok. Could just be a process that has crashed on the router.
  3. Over FTTP, I can get up to 300 Meg where I am but it isn't cheap
