  1. Hello LTT users, So firstly I'm just putting this thread in Peripherals because it doesn't really fit under anything else so bear with me. I just build myself a nice new PC and paid the RGB tax to make all the fans in my system ARGB as well as RGB RAM and an RGB MB. All the RBG can be seen through a nice Tempered Glass Panel and it looks really nice, but I want to take it one step further. I wanted to get those "Tik Tok" style LED light strips for the rest of my room but I wanted to be able to sync them up with my PC using the ARGB controller that came with my case. Does anyone have any suggestions for products that could potentially be controlled using my ARGB controller. If not would there be a simple solution to being able to control both the lights on my PC and room simultaneously. I haven't been able to find any ARGB lights that have a long enough distance to cover the area I need. (I've mostly just found case LED strips of no more than a few feet) I suspect a big reason for this might be power consumption right from the ARGB but with how good LED's have gotten in the past few years I'm still hopeful that the right solution is out there somewhere. Thanks in advance for the suggestions or advice.
  2. I don't think that would help, in fact I quite like Input Director as well. I'll try that if no other solutions are presented. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I have a Windows 2000 machine that has all my CNC programming on it that I use for Milling with my milling machine. I got a software called Input Director so I can share my mouse from my Windows 10 Machine to my Windows 2000 machine, but I can't get the mouse to show up on the Windows 2000 machine. I can mose the mouse around and click on things as normal but since there isn't a physical mouse connected, the cursor won't show. I have found solutions to this problem that work on Window 10, but I can't find anything on Windows 2000 probably because it's completely obsolete. If anyone can help me find a program or setting that allows the cursor to be visible without a mouse that would be fantastic, I've done some searching but simply can't find anything. Thanks!
  4. Are you referring to this? https://www.amazon.ca/XFX-Radeon-5700-GDDR6-3xDP/dp/B07TB5FBV6/ref=asc_df_B07TB5FBV6/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=335380394635&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=296866070961428903&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000737&hvtargid=pla-782790429086&psc=1
  5. Personally I would go for the Red one, Green is going out of fashion (in my opinion) , but honestly I think the 1070Ti would do what you want it too. I'm not sure what you are planning to do on this computer, but the 5700 XT is considerably more powerful and will probably last you longer. Than again it looks like even a 1060Ti or a RX 580 would do 120fps (of pacman ofc, maybe atari) without too many problems. Also wdym by paired with a 3600?? Because if you are planning to Crossfire or SLI? With a 3600?? Card you won't be able to Crossfire or SLI those cards.
  6. I just bought a Gigabyte H310M A motherboard from Amazon used and apparently tested. I tried getting it to work with my Celeron that I also got from Amazon and when I put them together... they don't want to play. I've read some stuff about Gigabyte boards going into a boot loop, which seems odd to me, but not far off from what I'm experiencing. At first, the fans turn on, and everything seems to be fine, the BOIS shows up for a second, then disappears as to be expected, but instead of booting to my nice non pirated version of (linux), the fans turn off for a second, and then turn back on again. The BIOS doesn't come up again which is why this is different from a boot loop, and when I try to go into the BIOS settings, the screen dies, it's like the computer has a 5 second timer before it has to turn off. Now I didn't bother isolating the problem by running my whole setup on barebones, in fact I cant because I don't have a display with HDMI or Display Port so I need my somewhat crappy RX 580 to help me see whats going on. I don't think this is a PSU problem, but I guess that's not off the table completely. I did try reseting the CHMOS to no avail, but any suggestions would be nice indeed. Thanks!!
  7. @88pockets @xhackforeverxdx Thanks so much guys for helping me. I got my Celeron in the mail today and put it in the new MOB and boom, it worked! Now this sucks because I now have a dead i7 which suck.... however it is covered under warranty so maybe I can get a replacement or something. I'm not sure how warranty works with Intel, but I'll be in touch with them to get this issue resolved. Thanks again so much I probably never would have tried an out of case build, or buying a cheap CPU to test the functionality (in my eyes anything below an i7 doesn't exist so I really never would have thought of that ?) so I'm glad I at least got some help figuring out what was wrong. Thanks Guys!
  8. The CPU is definitely a huge part of the build. I also just thought it might be important to note that I have an RX 580 GPU that I tried to use with he new board, even connected to power the fans didn’t move on it. I’m thinking I’m gonna get a cheap cpu from amazon, see if I maybe somehow I got a broken broad. Thanks for the suggestions though. I’ll also see if my cpu is under warranty.
  9. I find it weird that the computer just died like that while I was working and stuff. I wasn’t doing anything too intensive or anything like that, but it would make sense that the motherboard caused collateral damage.
  10. No the cpu isn’t delided but i have had it a while I’m not sure warranty would cover it. I’m probably going to switch over to AMD anyways because of price and Linuses video about how AMD will surpass Intel soon, so I don’t think now is a great time to but parts for my pc... with that being said I could probably again get a cpu on amazon and return it after diagnosis. I’ll look around and see what I can find. It’s too bad I can’t just get the damn thing to work....
  11. i had the same problem when I did FAH client too. The only thing that would work was the touch screen for me. I couldn’t close anything, open anything or do anything else. I had to force shutdown my computer and restart, that’s what I would do.
  12. Yeah so I have an 8th hen 8700k and the ASUS motherboard i think I broke wouldn’t recognize there were fans. It also gave me warnings about no fans and stuff like that when I voted it up even when it was delivering power to them O_o. After the computer died and wouldn’t restart, every time the board was plugged to power, the orange strip at the bottom would stay solid and the heat sink on the board would get really hot. I left it on once for a bit and I smelled burning so I was just ready to get a new board. Maybe the old board fried my ram and cpu? Idk.
