  1. Please delete if not allowed. Need help figuring out what my pc is worth. I heard 30-50% of purchase price, but I upgraded over the years and can't remember what I bought each part for. 2. Hello everyone, hope your day is going well. I am looking to purchase a new laptop for my Junior year in college. It's been one hell of a decision to make that has been constantly nagging me for the past week and a half but I finally decided to go with the Lenovo Yoga C930. I originally planned on purchasing the laptop from Best Buy, but then saw on Lenovo's website it was cheaper. I also then saw the Yoga C930 Glass and let me tell you it looks beautiful and I want it. But here's my issue. The glass is $1250 on Lenovo, while the standard C930 is $1485. The only difference between those two are the ssd drive. But on Best Buy, the standard C930 is $1499 with only a 512 SSD. Am I missing something?? Why is the glass so much cheaper than the standard model? Can someone please help me look through the specs and try to figure this out? Here are links to the websites (Please make sure to scroll down or click View Models): C930 Glass: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-900-series/Yoga-C930-13IKB-Glass/p/88YGC900983 C930: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-900-series/Yoga-C930-13IKB/p/88YGC900982 Best Buy C930: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-yoga-c930-2-in-1-13-9-4k-ultra-hd-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-512gb-solid-state-drive-mica/6295987.p?skuId=6295987 I have even reached out to Lenovo and Best Buy and both of them only tell me that it is that the back of the screen is Glass. But I don't know it just doesn't seem right that it's that much cheaper. Does anyone have experience with the Glass version? Does it crack easily? Any help would be SO appreciated, it's starting to drive me crazy.
  3. Minecraft took up a majority of my childhood tbh
  4. I appreciate the advice! Also another quick question. The MSI monitors are VA, how does that compare to an IPS?
  5. So I just purchased a 2080 and want to get a 1440p 144hz monitor to be able to take advantage of my card. I was mainly set on getting ASUS ROG PG279Q because it fit all my qualifications (27 inch or greater, 1440p, 144hz, not a TN panel (personal preference)). Then I came across the MSI Optix MAG271CQR, which seems to have all the same features as the ROG expect a curved monitor. I also checked out the MSI Optix MAG321CQR, which seems to be the same as the previous one except 32 inches not 27. I was wondering anyone's input on these three monitors. For the MSI monitors there doesn't seem to be many reviews on Newegg or Amazon, and for the few reviews I was able to find they were all about dead pixels. I know the ROG is a very reputable monitor for gamers. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Alright I will make sure to ask him that.
  7. Hey everybody! So I have always been interested in getting a racing wheel setup with a manual shifter. There is a Logitech G27 for sale locally by a private seller that I was able to negotiate to $180. I was wondering if after all these years it still holds up to the other new racing wheels out. It has been 4 years since they discontinued the wheel and although the price is almost half of a nice new setup I am still hesitate to purchase because of how old it is. I have tried looking at YouTube videos and such but all the ones I find seem to be years old and don't compare to wheels out now. Any help is appreciated.
  8. Hey guys, this might be a really dumb question but I’m wondering the difference between these two monitors. One just says gaming in the title and has an R at the end. From what i’ve read they have the same specs. 1. Dell Gaming S2716DGR 27.0" Screen LED-Lit Monitor with G-SYNC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0149QBOF0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UiFECbRNQVEPF 2. Dell S2716DG LED with G Sync 27" Gaming Computer Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072DV4KCP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_KjFECb9XZPBPG
  9. Really appreciate all the help from you guys. Just gotta wait for those tax returns to hit the bank then i’ll be on top of that 2080.
  10. There is a used MSI Gaming X for $850 on Newegg. But a new 2080 linked previously here is on sale for $723 with the discount applied. probably just gonna grab that if there isn’t that much of a difference. Especially considering it’s two years newer.
  11. Haha for sure! Tax returns enter my bank account in two days! Sale ends in 5, perfect timing!
  12. Not that I don't believe you Srius. But could I get some other input on this? Should I grab the 2080 instead of a 1080ti??
