  1. So the little black pins are tiny, about the size of the tip of a toothpick, so I did not have any luck getting them to move, I used a pointy tool and it still didn't work so I just yanked on the cord again at a 30* angle or so and it came lose. I plug everything back in and get no power. So now I think (and really hope) I don't have the new battery seated correctly. I fear I fried some components. Anyway, based on the new pictures do you guys know how to correctly seat the new battery in? What I did was push straight down and it went on but it comes out very easily, unlike the original battery did. I am not having any luck sliding it in under those clips. If the pics help, please help! thanks
  2. I can't seem to get those black things to move with my fingers or a plastic credit card -- can I use a small flat head metal screw driver to try to unlock it? or would that surge some of the components? Here's what the new battery looks like
  3. Could you please tell me how to disconnect my old laptop battery cable from the laptop's motherboard on a ROG 702v.I've tried pulling straight out and the cable won't separate from the motherboard. I can't figure out how to unlock it if there is a lock. Maybe I am not using enough force pulling straight out? I think I read some of these cables have locks that I have to release, maybe by pinching the sides -- but that's not working here and it doesn't want to come off by just tugging.Do you see any locks in the picture. How do I unlock it? Or do I just pull straight out. Thanks
