It started a month or so, playing PUBG Mobile on PC would make everything freeze, forcing me to perform a hard reset. Freezes everything, even sound. Tried Ring of Elysium (another Battle Royale), same thing happened.
Now here's where it gets interesting: it doesn't happen with any other game. REmake 2? Nope, AC: Black Flag? Nope, Skyrim? Nope, GTA V? Nope.
And even more, before that, let's say... two months ago, I could totally play PUBG Mobile without a problem. It started out of nowhere a month ago or so.
Ran IntelBurn and Heaven Benchmark, OCCT, memtest86 and even Prime95... no freezes or errors.
Temps are within the safe limits.
PSU, MOBO and RAM are brand new. Here's my specs:
Phenom II X6 1100t 3.3GHz (3.7GHz turbo) (Safe temp: 62c. My temp: ~55c)
EVGA GTX 550ti 1GB (Safe temp: 80c. My temp: 65c~70c)
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz
PSU Corsair 650W.
MOBO ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3
Windows 10 LTSC x64.
All the temps are fine, no overclocks whatsoever. I can play Skyrim, Black Flag, RE2... as long as I want. 8 hours, you name it.
But PUBG doesn't last more than 3, 4 matches. Doesn't last a single one if playing in a full group.
I can't put my finger on where I could be the problem when everything doesn't show any sign of anomaly during tests and gaming sessions. "Funny" how it only happened with online games/battle royale.
If needed, I can post some of the events I've seen on Event Viewer, but I tell you that I haven't seen a single error related to the freeze.
