  1. Sorry for a late reply. After removing the drivers there has not been any overheating problems, hitting max temperatures of about 80 degrees. But after some windows updates the problems showed up again. The solution was to remove the drivers again. It seems like they are not fully compatible with the system for some reason. If you are still suspicious about the high temperatures, you could try monitoring them under a high load with some free programs, but the processor should automatically start throttling down before it overheats regardless of the drivers. I hope this helps! *Edit* Forgot to mention that you have to reboot your laptop after removing the drivers.
  2. Solved! We fixed the problem by removing all Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework Drivers from Device manager. Now everything is working fine.
  3. Was the problem fixed? My friend is having the same exact problem with similar setup (i5 7200U and 930MX graphics card). This doesn't seem to be a thermal issue. While playing games the max CPU temperature was under 60 degrees celsius. We have even tried updating all possible drivers with no luck.
