Hello, with the 346P1CRH/00, which I've had through the company since April, the "black levels", i.e. differences in darkness, are really terrible when a scene is very dark The problem exists both via USB-C Alt Displayport with the Thunderbolt cable that came with the monitor when connected to my HP Elitebook 850 G8 and when DisplayPort cable is connected to the RTX 3070 of my private PC. The latest drivers are installed on both devices. I have already tested all the drivers, cables etc. SDR or the HDR (400 hahah, so virtually non-existent) doesn't help either, of course. Here is an example of what I mean. It already looks bad in the picture, but it looks even worse to the eye. The monitor is set to factory defaults : SmartImage-Modus: Off PowerSensor: Off LightSensor: Off LowBlue Mode : Off Picure: HDR: Off AdaptiveSync: Off Picture Format: Widescreen Brightness: 60 Contrast: 50 Sharpness: 50 SmartResponse: Off SmartContrast: Off Gamma: 2.2 Pixel Orbiting: On (Off doesn't do anything) Overscan: Ausgegraut, aber auf Off DPS: On (Off doesn't do anything, only increases brightness. Meant for EnergyStar Certification) PIP/ PBP Mode: Off Color: Color Temperature: 6500K sRGB and User Define are not selected, but do not bring any improvement either Settings: DP Out Multi-Stream : Clone (But I don't use daisy-chaining anyway) Here is a recent particular bad example. Hi, since my initial post I moved to a different place and bought a new printer. Since I'm not printing anything normally, bought an HP Printer with the cheapest instantink option for 1€ per month (6 months for free). HP's app "HP Smart" does scan and OCR and therefore fullfiles my needs.

Yeah I will do so after finishing the currently installed games. It's not like you are missing out on much (yet) apart from the visual changes. As long as the i5 does it's job, just keep it. But I'm wondering what you are doing with it. Before the R5 3600 I had an i5-4670k and I had to replace it because it bottlenecked my 2560*1080p system.

well.. if the Insider Build bothered me I would just re-install the stable Version. Regarding the one big feature update per year. Just wait, there might be some changes to when and how new features are distributed.

mine apparently doesnt have a toggle for it. Could find it in the BIOS nor the 44-paged-manual. I guess normally it would shutoff but it didn't due to whatever the Insider build is causing...

I know this sounds ridiculous but honestly you should just try the "windows problem solver". For sound misconfigurations it works surprisingly well.

Normally, this wouldn't happen. I guess that the Insider Build somehow prevents some kind of BIOS-Windows communication, as the Motherboard utilities dont work right now. Even the BIOS fan-curve doesnt do anything right now. Yeah, the board was the cheapest B450 board with an M.2 Slot. That's why I bought it. Apart from this occasion, there never was a reason to regret cheaping out on the mobo. I'm wondering why it didn't shut off too. Why I did some testing boots while assembling the PC, it even shut off at 90°C (while there was not cooler installed). I guess it's some problem with the Motherboard and the Insider Preview. When the fans are spinning, there's plenty airflow. The cause for the high temperature was definitely the non-existence of a fan curve above 0% fan duty.

Hi, as I'm currently running an Insider Build of W11 the software I normally used for CPU/Case-fan-control doesn't work at the moment. I searched for some alternatives and am now using FanControl. Unfortunately, I created both a normal profile and a "noFan" profil while getting used to the software and for some reason today my PC started with the nofan profile and therefore didn't use any CPU/ Casefans. GPU Fan is autocontrolled by Afterburner, because of which I wasnt able to hear, that the case/cpu-fans weren't spinning. After some time I noticed some "warm" smell but didn't noticed that it was caused by my PC. When the Framerate was terribly low I wondered what could cause this and opened the Afterburner-OSD and saw the cpu-temperature of 112°C. I thought that that's not possible but nonetheless checked whether the exhaust is warmer than normal. Obviously, it was quite hot and definitely the source of the "warm" smell I noticed earlier. I immediately closed the game and set all fans to 100% but I'm still wondering why the PC didn't shutdown itself. Before anyone recommends this: Yes, normally I've got an audio-alert set up for high temperatures but apparently I didn't set it up while freshly installing windows some time ago. Any recommendations for further steps (besides using fans )?

Hi, my brother just bought a new System with an ASUS PRIME H610M-E D4 and an i5-12400F. While trying to install Windows 11 to the newly bought m.2 there was no internet connection. Apparently, the standard network driver that Windows normally would uses didn't work. After offline-installing windows 10, downloading the Intel Network Drivers from the motherboards support page from another PC and "updating" the driver of the not recognizable network interface in device manager with the downloaded driver, Ethernet works again. Unfortunately, as W11 now even requires a network connection when installing W11 Pro, I dont see a solution to install W11 on this PC apart from offline-installing W10 and then upgrading to W11 (maybe an older W11 build might work as well, as the first one didn't require a connection). I know that while selecting the drive to install Windows to, there is an option to load drivers for more complex storage solutions like SANs. Is there a way to install network drivers while installing W11 too?

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, Google Drive Scan doesn't OCR the scanned document. When one wants to use his smartphone to scan, I would recommend the Onedrive App. It achieves good scan results and OCRs the content. BUT I dont want to use my phone, I want to scan the file using my printer ( Epson XP-3100 in my case- but it shouldn't matter which printer one wants to use for this) but initiate it on my phone (just like with Mopria)

Hi, I'm currently looking for an alternative to the Android App "Mopria Scan" that is also capable of OCR-scanning. Mopria works perfectly fine, but I would like the scanned documents to be searchable. I know that there is software to OCR already scanned PDFs, but I would like to scan (preferable from my phone) and then save the scanned PDF to Google Drive etc. Just like I'm doing with Mopria, but with the addition of OCR'ed text. If anyone can recommend an android-app (if it's not horrible to use windows applications are okay too) I would be happy. I also looked into Paperless NGX, but I didnt like the none existent folder structure. Thank you

Hello, recently I unfortunately experienced this error twice: Fatal error in GC VirtualAlloc remapping failed Both Times it happend when playing Wasteland 3, but apparently the problem exists with multiple Games. Unfortunately, none of the threads I found contained possible solutions. Played Wasteland 3 for something like 20 hours without any problem, but now it happend twice within a few days. After this error occurred, I needed to restart or log-off to be able to use my PC again. Not even explorer or Edge worked after this error.
