  1. found the drivers , is it safe to remove them ? what if the CPU hits Tj max or the laptop was over heated?
  2. can you show me how you did that? i am still having the problem and yes , when the cpu % drops , the intel gpu usage goes to 80% or so , so i figured it might be drivers issue
  3. when i turned off v-sync in hollow knight , fps remained stable at 55-60 fps this is weird
  4. yes , unless there is some heavy load the system is working fine (idle temp 25-37 c) the throttle happens WHENEVER the cpu is under 100% load ( random , might happen or not)
  5. Hello so i have been experiencing very weird cpu drops i have asus x556urk laptop with 6gb ddr4 2133mhz RAM , nVIDIA 930MX (2GB), intel i5-7200U , Kingston A400 480GB SATA III , 1TB Seagate 5400rpm i have the latest windows 10 version i am not sure if this a thermal issue or something else the cpu stays at 100% then suddenly it drops to 14% and 0.38ghz ( picture) and it always drops to this number , plus the intel 620 gpu usage goes 60-80% , after that the cpu gradually increases it's clock speed back to 3.10 ghz it doesn't matter what i am working with ( games like fallout4( which has constant 50-55fps) - hollow knight( it had 60+fps all the time now it's stuck at 31) - osu! ) , the fps becomes 2-1 for like 3 mins before going back to normal also when using Handbrake to encode some videos , After effects and premiere pro as well ( exporting or reviewing ) power plan set to Performance i cleaned this laptop about 2months ago (fans , paste)
