Hello. I am not an expert in fixing laptops and so I proceeded here. My laptop, Toshiba Satellite C55-C5240, suddenly stopped working. The screen won't turn on and it's no use connecting it into external display using HDMI. I already tried re-installing the RAM. I checked on the HDD, I found that Windows got corrupted but I don't know how it got corrupted. Even so, I know it should atleast show the Manufacturer's logo when booting up but it didn't. There was nothing on the screen when I turn the laptop on. I believe the screen isn't working at all so I also re-installed the ribbon connecting to the display. Also tried to remove the CMOS battery. Nothing worked. The fan is spinning though and I can feel the processor (Core i3 5th Gen) warm when turned on. It worked once when I connected it into an external display but now it hasn't worked again. Right now, when I turn it on and wait for a few moments, it turns off by itself. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? It would be a big help. Thanks.
