  1. All of them. I do have my router and pc set to use 1.1.1.1 but even trying to ping that gives me all request timed out
  2. I never had issues with the old computer. My ISP, Cox, has been reliable in the past. This issue has been going on since I built this computer several weeks ago. At first I assumed it was a driver or settings issue. Been through several guides on fixing interruptions but so far nothing has worked.
  3. I recently built a new PC and have started to experience network interruptions. When viewing youtube sometimes It will not load a new page or it will pause halfway through loading a new page. I am also getting network interruptions while playing games. I have tried swapping the PC power mode to performance, reinstalling the latest network drivers from MSI's webpage as well as the latest chipset drivers. I am using ethernet cable. The interruptions occur quite frequently (at least once or twice an hour) The computer is MSI MEG z390 Godlike Intel i9-9900k MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio x2 w/ EVGA NV Link Samsung 970 Evo 1TB Samsung 860 Evo 1TB x2 RAID0 Corsair AX1200i Anyone know how to fix the network interruptions?
  4. @TahoeDust Ya I've seen that it is starting to work now. I still feel happy with my 2080s. Getting great FPS The computer looks sick. Except the NVlink.. the MSI MEG Z390 Godlike requires the gpus to be 4-slotted. (Whole reason Linus used this mobo in the video where he ran dual 2080ti) However MSI does not currently offer a 4-slot NVlink. I decided to use the EVGA (same one linus used in that video) but it will not fit on MSI Gaming X Trios.. at least not with the platics on it. I had to remove the front and rear plastics to make it fit. (the plastic tip woudn't clear the actual card) ... I will oreder a different NVlink next week so it will look nice. Will post some pics then. mean time, I ran the 3DMARK demo on a small overclock. CPU - 5.0ghz @ 1.31v GPUs - +100mhz core / +150mhz memory / power limit set 109% I'm sure the demo for Time Spy isn't super taxing. I only hit a max of 66c on the gpus. Scored 20,223 on first run
  5. Update The "In-place upgrade" is complete and the windows updater will now install all updates. I used a new license and installed from the DVD that came with it. (OEM) I'm thinking that my issue was with the original install and not the update.
  6. Going through several windows steps to try to fix. Currently at the "in-place upgrade" Plenty of space for it. Just finished the PC build a few hours ago and have a 1tb NVMe boot drive
  7. Might be a long shot here, but I have the new build up and running but cannot get a few game launches to download games. Thinking it might be a .NET or Framework issue. Tried running windows update and there is an update for .NET and Framework, but I cannot get it to install Ran updates on all bios and drivers. Are there any known solutions to this problem?
  8. I do have a number of programs on my computer that will benefit from it. Like MasterCAM, Photoshop CC, also when running virtual machines for one of the games I like to play.
  9. 3440x1440 is "Ultrawide 1440p" and the DLSS is supported with 2080 but not the 2080ti There are several youtube videos that show 3440x1440 in use with DLSS in Battlefield V. It has had some blurring issues but Nvidia said they are focusing on 1920x1080 and 3440x1440. Links or it didn't happen right? https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/nvidia-dlss-your-questions-answered/ (bottom question)
  10. Nividia https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/battlefield-v-metro-exodus-ray-tracing-dlss/ TL:DR from the aricle above DLSS is available with the following GPUs, with ray tracing turned on, at the resolutions listed below: 3840x2160: All RTX GPUs 2560x1440: RTX 2060, 2070, and 2080 1920x1080: RTX 2060 and 2070
  11. I use 3440x1440 so running 2080ti only hurts me as far as features.. (Ray Tracing and DLSS on 2080ti only work with 4k resolution) Depends on your definition of "better" I assume that since this is currently on my kitchen counter going together that it counts as a build log since I will be logging my build periodically from the beginning all the way through it getting monoblock this summer with full custom loop for cpu and both gpus.
  12. Still waiting on a couple parts scheduled for delivery tomorrow (couple M.2s and NVlink). Also need to give her a name.
  13. Found the user manual for download. It doesn't say for sure how many lanes they get (Doesn't even say how many lanes the PCIe x16 slots have, but Gamers Nexus did an in depth breakdown on that) Guessing that since the M.2_2 and U.2 share lanes I can expect that the be a x4 for my nvme drive.
  14. Correct it says it "supports" x4 cards but are they actually x4 slots? You will also notice on that page it says it has multiple x16 slots even though only one has 16 lanes.
  15. Currently building a new computer using a Z390 Godlike from MSI. I'm having trouble figuring out if the M.2 slots are all x4 or if some are x2 .. Where can I find this information? It doesn't seem that MSI puts any lane information on their website.
  16. Ok.. things might have changed over last few years.. honestly this is the first time I'll have build a computer since 2013.. And that was a Z77 board to
  17. I ordered a new windows 10 license that comes with the installer on DVD. So I think I am just going to temp plug in the optical drive from the computer I am replacing to the new PC just long enough to install windows... and maybe the mobo drivers which will likely come on a disc as well.
  18. Also want to note to people mentioning single RTX 2080ti, that the key features of RTX with Real Time Ray Tracing and DLSS only work with the 2080ti in 4k. The 2080ti will not support those features in 1440 or 1080. My preference for gaming is 3440x1440 which I do not believe that the 2080ti will support with ray tracing and dlss
  19. This summer I will be swapping both out for MSI 2080ti Seahawk EK Xs .. I have been in contact with EK and they have confirmed to me that a Z390 Godlike monoblock is slated for Q2 2019. Once this comes out I will be swapping the whole thing over to a custom loop. So even if I go with a single RTX 2080ti I will still be replacing it this summer. For now the 2 2080s I got on sale for about 1450 USD (compared to 1399 USD for a Gaming X Trio 2080ti) will actually provide me better performance for roughly same price.
