  1. Ill have to try out the software you mentioned as for the hardware. The RX 580 is brand new. The PSU is a brand new CX750M (I know it's a little over kill but no kidding it was the only thing available at my local retailer and we couldn't do shipping.)
  2. Tomahawk Max B450, I believe it is the latest bios but it could be worth checking that. I got the latest chipset drivers when i got this (about two weeks ago) but yet again, might be worth checking them. Games are split, Modern Warfare is on an Hard Drive while Destiny 2 and Genshin Impact are on my SSD (cause load times).
  3. Alright so there's a bit to this issue (or at least I think there is) and I'm getting a little desperate for a solution. I've taken to reddit, microsoft pages and all sorts and nothing has helped. My games keep freezing on startup. I've tested out Modern Warfare, Genshin Impact and Destiny 2 and each of them will last a second or less before becoming unresponsive (in the case of Genshin impact) or just totally freezing. I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600 non-overclocked, RX 580, 16 Gb of 3200 Mhz RAM and all my drivers are completely up to date. I've tried running a sfc /scannow and it found a corrupted file and fixed it but apparently that was a whole other issue. I've even tried turning it off and on again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games and you get the idea. I'll also note that games like Terraria, Portal 2 and Minecraft are still functioning perfectly and at max capacity (so none of my hardware is impacting anything). So maybe there's a correlation between errors in newer games or engines compared to old ones? idk im just grabbing at straws here! Please help -You don't get to know my real name so Arctic
  4. Aight too many fancy words for me sorry. And im not comparing any two brands. I just want the closest equivalent in ANY brand to what TT Type 2 Plunger Switch. I just want to know so i can get a new keyboard that has a similar feel to what i like.
  5. Maybe trust is the wrong word. I just see it everywhere and right now i give up on defending the point of looking for Cherry MX. Although as i mentioned earlier, if there is an equivalent that is as close as possible out of any switch that there is, which one would it be. The Cherry MX Blue looks and seems to be quite similar so im gonna look out for those.
  6. Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I think I'll follow on with the blue as the internal design follows the mentioned 'Plunger' and you all say its the closest. The reason im going with cherry is because they often make the most widely used mechanical keys and i trust them. I'll probably see if there is a store in my area that allows me to test the types of keys because im a cheap f**k and cant afford a cherry MX testing kit.
  7. First time posting so let’s go. so recently my “gaming” keyboard broke and I’ve been thinking of finding a higher quality keyboard. However, when it comes to mechanical keyboards I’m quite new to the topic of Cherry Switches. I’ve looked over them and I’m not sure which one I should get. If you guys have any recommendations for which one I should use for good typing as well as gaming then please do tell but my main focus is what is the Cherry MX equivalent to the TTesport’s TT Type II Plunger Switch. This is the type that I used on my old keyboard and I loved it. Another option would be one that has the exact same feel as th TT Type II Plunger but with more feedback (as in click) because I adore that sound. Thanks!
