It depends on what games you play and on what resolution, but you could have better performance with Ryzen 2600 oc'd and a rtx 2080. Will cost about 40$ more(total 1430$ with mail-in rebates).
9600K should be a lot faster in Photoshop but anything gpu rendered should favor 2080.
