DildorTheDecent reacted to Spotty in Non-Fungible Tech Tips - NFT Announcement
We are proud to announce that the Linus Tech Tips forum will be offering iconic forum posts as NFTs in a collection titled "Non-Fungible Tech Tips".

The Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection will be released on January 1st 2023 in celebration of the forum's 10th anniversary and will be made up of the top posts on the forum over the past 10 years. The Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection provides us with a unique opportunity to look back on and celebrate the iconic forum posts that made us think, made us laugh, brought us together, as well as some of the most divisive and controversial posts. This collection is not just a celebration of the top posts but a love letter to the community that forums create.

For owners of Non-Fungible Tech Tips NFTs the iconic post(s) will be displayed at the top of your forum profile to allow you to show off your collection of Non-Fungible Tech Tips. The forum username of the NFT holder will be displayed alongside the iconic post allowing the NFT holder to be associated with some of the most iconic and memorable posts on the forum. By owning any Non-Fungible Tech Tip NFT you will also receive a unique NFTT badge displayed on your forum profile and alongside your forum posts. Forum posts included in the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection will be highlighted on the forum with an orange glow.

Proceeds from the sale of NFTs part of the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection will be used to maintain the Linus Tech Tips forum and to ensure the forum can continue to operate for the next 10 years and beyond.

In light of this announcement we would like to share the first post selected for the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection is LinusTech's Welcome to the Linus Tech Tips Forum post from 2013. We believe this is a truly iconic post marking the start of the Linus Tech Tips forum and the perfect post to include in the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection.

We are also pleased to announce we will be giving away the Welcome to the Linus Tech Tips Forum post, #1 of 69 in the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection with a current estimated value of 420 ETH.
In order to enter the giveaway share on Twitter which forum post you would like to see as part of the Non-Fungible Tech Tips collection along with the tag #NonFungibleTechTips
The winner will be chosen and announced on January 1st 2023. Please note the winner selected must have at least 5000 followers across all social media platforms.

We know that it's a little early to be announcing this project since it doesn't release until January 2023 but we ask you be patient with us, we want to take our time to do it right. Today's forum update added a lot of the back-end necessary for the forum integration with the NFTs which allows us to move forward with the project. This is something we've been quietly working on for some time and we're very passionate about bringing this NFT opportunity to our community. We're hoping to get the community involved in this project as much as possible as it is the community which makes the forum. Without you none of this would be possible.  Please share any feedback or suggestions you have.

We care deeply about our customers so we have adopted these policies for your safety and security as well as the safety and security of innocent children.

DildorTheDecent got a reaction from Mark Kaine in Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***
That's not the case at all. Superposition is a proper GPU benchmark where the CPU has little to zero influence on the score. Valley on the other hand is massively CPU limited. There will be some variance with GPU clocks, open programs, clean installs and driver versions. But overall, Superposition does a far better job of representing what a GPU can do vs Valley which at this point is CPU instead of GPU limited.

You'll get destroyed in benchmarks like 3DMark Firestrike or Timespy. You're cooling has nothing to do with it.

    Hype!

Also, I just realized I missed our 2 year parrotversary: sorry y’all!

It’s been a crazy few years, with COVID affecting our school, work, and everything else, and now excitement in Europe….
But it’s been a pleasure to spend all this time, despite the downsides, with you all.

Sorry I’m not super active anymore, by the way: life got…. Very busy. Love you all!

They're still yet to figure out how to seed torrents properly and use make so I'd hold your horses with this statement.

DildorTheDecent reacted to GetTheClicker in I got an MSI Reference RX 6900XT to 9c WITHOUT AIO or a water block.
My build is up high because the previous one did not survive well on the floor. The wife tripped and spilled soda all over the top exhaust fans and my toddler tried to clean the side panel window with a rough rag that was like sandpaper. So I put it up high in a corner behind 3 tv's that get a little warm. SO, I've done a little redneck engineering with a trip to home depot I made this. At the very end of the tube at the window is a 3k rpm 120mm fan that plugs directly into the wall with a converter that sucks up all the 15f degree winter air. I overclocked the card a little bit and ramped up all the fans. The warmest the GPU ran was 48c while playing Cyberpunk 2077. There was at no point over the last 2 days straight any sign of condensation. The 5950x paired with a Corsair H150i Pro didn't do so bad either.

Query nvidia-smi and see what it spits out. This is for Windows CMD, idk about other platforms:
nvidia-smi --format=csv --query-gpu=name,serial For my HP RTX 2080 Ti (OEM) it returns the serial number. Not entirely sure if the serial command works with Ampere or other Turing cards. But I think it should.
