oddly enough i think there is a coc thing that makes him lock it(he doesn't have to but he did) something over asking to bypass a security feature . I've seen it happen before a lot of time here. not surprising.

everything was fine until he was asked what was it for, doesn't matter if he's a school student asking for help or a person from china asking for help, lokcing the thread after the fact is censorship. 

censorship would be removing it completely & assigning warning point to further discourage, you know the basic, cover up & threat tactic,  this is restriction of discussion because of intent of the OP , he didn't have to but he did, im pretty sure its debatable if they were to discuss it among themselves with the good ol report mod action to admin,  there are plenty other discussion points that are being properly censored,  this is just light abuse to be fair, it is moderation but feels like a back seat parenting attempt.
