  1. freesync premium & gsync compatible using the same panel as the highly recommended cheap 24inch IPS 144Hz display, AOC 24G2 but 242M8 is cheaper
  2. ive been trying to upgrade my monitor for the past months, from 22" 1080p 60Hz IPS Display to higher refresh rate monitor after watching some reviews, ill buy Philips 242M8, 24" 1080p 144Hz IPS Display what i wanted to know, is it okay if the game hovering around 100FPS on 144Hz? will it be smoother? right now im playing everygame capped at 60fps 60Hz for smoothness, even though my pc can ran game with 100+fps thanks~
  3. so the title says it all i build a pc for my friend in an ITX cases which is silverstone sg13 the specs are: Ryzen 3 3100 ASRock B550M ITX/AC Klevv Bolt XR 2x8GB 3200Mhz 16-18-18-34 Zotac GTX 1660S TwinFan FSP HV Pro 550w things that ive done, tune the CPU, 38x @0.95v (stock allcore boost 38xx @ 1.3v) tune the GPU, 1950 boost @0.9v, +125mem (stock boost 1850 @0.968v) when playing cpu heavy game such as AC Origins, my cpu hits 75c i set the fan to 80% from the start, but when the temps hit 75c i crank it up to 100% is my temp on the safe zone?
  4. hey, we have pretty close on the specs, mine was 4670k with a slower graphics card, gtx 1060 but i oc the 4670k to 4.5Ghz, when i change to R5 3500 i see no difference in average fps, probably caused by the slow gpu the most improvement are, i can now multitaskin while playing game example, i can play ac origins with browser opened in 2nd monitor when im using 4670k, u either play a game, or do something else i'd recommend go for zen 2 or wait for zen 3 i5 10400f is not worth it, cause you probably match it with b&h motherboard and your ram can only run at 2666 Mhz cause a limitation by the b&h motherboard
  5. tried it myself tho, 3200Mhz C16, IF 1600Mhz vs 3600Mhz C19, IF 1800Mhz i gained more with 3600C19 IF 1800Mhz over the 3200C16 IF 1600Mhz but both settings obviously faster than stock
  6. heres why i pick higher speed rather than slower speed with tighter timings
  7. a simple CinebenchR20 on loop is enough to look for the max boost clock and max sustain voltages then you can try to undervolt those voltages, but keeping the max boost clock, try it in ryzen master, and keep it as a profile so you would get lower temps at all core boost heres a tip, when you dont use your ryzen on cpu intensive program (eg non allcore programs) leave it at stock, but when you want to play a game or program that cpu intensive (eg rendering adobe premier), turn on your saved all core profile that you saved in ryzen master ive tried it and its pretty funny, when im just doing daily things, browsing etc, the cpu temps goes up to 55-57c when im using it for cpu-intensive programs, i turn on my profile, and the cpu temps never goes to 55c yeah i know, im just using a 6core6thread cpus, but you could calculate what an undervolt do to your cpus temp
  8. if you would like to only game, i recommend 5700XT, cause the price to performance is way better than both geforce card you include here (2060S & 2070S) if you do some productivity i recommend 2060S/2070S, cuda accelerated apps is a lot here i have 2 recommendation for you changed the motherboard, ram, psu, and case for 5700 XT i recommend the sapphire nitro over pulses, has a better overall thermal performance
  9. you should install 2 things corsair's propietary software ryzen master ryzen's idle speed isnt like intel's its different what you should take a look for is when you full throttle it (100% usage)
  10. no need to worry thats my go to psu in that price point, i build 3pcs with that psu for my clients
  11. im using noctua and i would say its quiet... why dont you try silentwings? silentwings3 high speed ones...
  12. since your cpu has an iGPU (intelHD) you should remove your 970 and try to connect your monitor to motherboard ports if there is no problem occuring, then its time for you to get a new gpu

  14. oh.. i thought it could be lower its stable AF, i have my voltages 1-2 clicks higher from the 'real' stable voltages and ive done my usual stuff and no bsod or crashes at all
  15. thats playing a game, when runing cibeR20 it reaches 69c and im using 280mm AIO (h110i) so theres no downside running on lower voltages, okay then ill be happy with just the 36x and 41x multipliers profile
