  1. Hi there. I have a Surface pro (gen 5) i7 7600u 16gb ram. WIN 10 build 19042.867 The other day, for no reason whatsoever (wasn't after an update) both my USB port and Bluetooth stopped working. In device manager the bt controller is nowhere to be found, and the Usb has a warning sign and says: This device cannot start. (code 10) (Operation failed) The requested operation was unsuccessful Another warning sign is present under firmware>Surface Me This device cannot start. (code 10) Indicate a revision number encountered of specified is not one know by the service. It may be a more recent revision than the service is aware of I did a very painful and long cloud backup (with no USB port, my microsd reader fried a long time ago) and I tried running a diagnostic that did find an usb and firmware problem but did absolutely nothing to fix it. I tried installing different drivers, disabling devices, uninstalling driver, formatting the pc, doing updates, do rollbacks of updates, but no luck! Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? The usb port seems working before I boot windows, since it does start a bootable usb Thank you very much I don't know what to do anymore
  2. Is Olivia a lab/pit too?
  3. Nice, finally, thank you!
  4. Yeah better this way. It's a very cool concept but it just fails both at being a tablet and a laptop, an overwhelmingly frustrating experience (for the price). I would not be surprised if they just killed the book entirely. After all,in the surface family, if you need to draw get a surface pro, and if you need a laptop, well the surface laptop.
  5. The USB C thing is the one that triggers me the the most. I'm surprised Microsoft didn't learn anything from the win10 mobile, windows RT and Windows S experience which is that usually crippled versions of windows don't really have a place in the market, like the whole point of running windows is the x86 library. Don't get me wrong I think the pro X does look pretty sweet, but if I wanted a crippled tablet, I would just buy an Ipad. Also not looking forward to see how buggy Win10 on an ARM chip will be. The Surface Laptop (for a different type of consumer that is not me) actually looks great. I can live with those bezels, the fact that they made it easier to service is a breath of fresh air in this 'pro, expensive and sleek looking' market. I'm actually moderate excited of those AMD chip on the 15 inch version. Great competitor against the Apple alternative and their disgraceful keyboards. Still pissed that it doesn't look like you can charge them with usb c (like NO ONE on the internet seems able to answer that)
  6. Sorry for the spoiler pal!!! And thank you for compiling the post!!!!
  7. I think the duo is actually Android based
  8. Regarding that USB-C port.... Nobody is mentioning much, beside the fact that, is still not a thunderbolt 3 port. If isn't possible to charge with it, it's a dealbreaker for me

    Cooking skills

I have anaphylactic allergies (TO GARLIC) so I can't really eat anything that is not made from scratch by me. But yeah, when you learn how to cook properly, you do it the way that you like it and that's priceless. Also it's pretty satisfying to master the craft. For hygiene, I have many friends that work in the industry, and it can get pretty gross, even in high end places. I would rather eat something that I cooked (even tho I always have a dog in my kitchen and that's a big no no for restaurants) than who knows how many breeds of cockroaces have in any given restaurant.
  10. I just feel that, beside specs, price and whatever, the design looks very dated to me.. Like this would been fire in 2008, hell even the MacPro G5 looks more current than this. I'm not a Mac person whatsoever, but at least their other stuff do look like they have been made in this decade
  11. I was literally thinking about that like yesterday! I would like to know the improvement of the various community (if any) how is compatibility in 2019... It's being a long time since I build my last Hackintosh!
  12. My mom got addicted to pokemon lol. That was her gateway drug. After that, she was really into Nintendo stuff (Zelda it's her favourite one) and I believe since that first experience with the Gameboy, she got pretty much all the Nintendo console for herself. Maybe introduce her to something easy, portable and sweet, like a Nintendo 2ds. I know is not exactly THE ULTIMATE GAMING EXPERIENCE but it could be worry-free enough experience for her to get interested!
  13. She does hit some pretty obscure keyboards shortcuts that I'm not even aware of, when she walks on my laptops...
