  1. Thanks, I've been looking at a few thinkpads and have send the full range honestly from £100 all the way to £1000. What I'm wondering is would I be able to add a touchscreen display to the T460 maybe, as an upgrade?
  2. Hey guys, So I'm in the market for a good laptop for university. I'm not trying to game on the laptop because I've got a desktop where I can do that, but I do want it to last me 3 years (minimum) without having to change anything (such as battery screen etc etc). Currently I've been looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad X260 and X1 Carbon but there's something about its appearance that doesn't appeal to me, however, I am fond of their upgradeablity (which I'd happily do now at the start but not down the like, due to lack of time). Budget wise, I'd say in the £500 range, I'd like something with warranty BUT will hapilly buy something second hand as long as its not older than 5 years (required by my insurer, so in the case of anything going wrong I can get it repaired for cheaper). If anyone has any decent recommendations please do let me know, also if I'm not making sense ask away.
  3. Recently ive been having issues with my nvidia drivers remaining installed on my pc. I figured that reinstalling the drivers would solve this issue but it didn't. Every time i get to the end of the installation it says restart this PC, and once i do nvidia is not installed neither are any of the graphics drivers that are meant to go with it. It was working perfectly fine this morning which is dubious, so if anyone can help me out.
