  1. Thank you all for the information it was very helpful, I do plan to do the upgrade near the end of the year if not right after Christmas, I also don't plan to OC the CPU as I don't see the need to. So a computer benchmark what should I use in the future?
  2. Budget (including currency): 1500~2000 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games (PSO2, City Skyline, AoE2, Galatic Civilization3), Stable Diffusion Other details UserBenchmarks: Game 85%, Desk 85%, Work 79% CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 76.2% GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 - 103.6% SSD: XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 2TB - 237.9% SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - 97.5% SSD: Samsung 870 QVO 1TB - 81.3% HDD: WD Purple Surveillance 6TB (2017) - 61.5% HDD: Seagate BUP BK 5TB - 38.1% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x16GB - 112.1% MBD: Gigabyte GA-X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI I'm planning to change my CPU and GPU and not sure what I should go for? For CPU their the 5600X, 5700X, 5800X, and 5800X3D and for GPU I'm not sure if I should got AMD (7900 XTX) as I have a AMD CPU or stay with Nvidia and get a 4070TI. Any throughs?
  3. The MB is a Aorus x570 mini-itx pro wifi, I think that it may be a problem with the CPU that wants to boost all the time
  4. Well I seam to have stop my computer from overclocking all the time, I'm not sure what was causing it, but I put the maximum CPU power to 99% in the power management setting then it helped it a lot. so at Idle it's at 40-50 and 50-60 when playing a game, and the fan not running at full RPM. I don't know if this would work for others.
  5. I downloaded the HWinfo and this is what it's showing to me, I also have a recording showing that the CPU cores are jumping to 4ghz on idle 1199935760_20220306_070133(2).mp4
  6. I do know that it will drop to 2ghz sometimes but it looks to jump back up to 4 and stays there most of the time. The highest I seen is 4.3
  7. The only settings I changed in Bois was my RAM to run at 32, I didn't touch the CPU
  8. Hi, My CPU is running hot, and I don't know why, I did change my Heatsink from a Noctua NH-L9a to a NH=L12s, but it's still running hot and I can see that the CPU is at 4GHz on Idle what should I bee looking for?
  9. The best option thanks will just need to look for a better options for the ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 as it's sold out in my province and they won't ship it here T-T
  10. Ok thanks, I'll go for a 2TB drive then
  11. Then what MB so I get in that case, The computer case I'm using is a Silverstone FTZ01 so only a Mini-ITX can fit in it.
  12. Unfortunately B550 MB doesn't support my CPU as I have no plans to change my CPU in there market that we have right now. I was thinking of the X570 because I know that it supports up to 5000x series AMD CPU so I should be easier to get one of does at a later date. Thanks for the suggestion.
  13. So I should just get a normal SSD for gaming and use a NVMe for my boot drive even if I have 2 slots on my MB. That's good to know, but do I really need a 2TB boot drive for windows 10? wouldn't a 500gb be good enough for a boot drive?
  14. All the part you see on that list are in my computer right now, I did change the 8TB to a 6TB and it's about 67% full, with games, pictures, and old school work I liked. I do want to get a 2TB NVMe drive for gaming as it would for my main games I play a lot of, with my 6TB being games that I play casually.
  15. Budget (including currency): Around 450$ CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: One drive for OS, the other for gaming Other details : The picture below shows my PC parts from my computer. Over the last 2 years that I had this computer I been having a problem on start up and I been noticing that my OS drive the Adata SX6000 health is slowly getting worst ( at the moment it's at 70%), as this was my first build there were some mistakes that I did, that I didn't know at the time, and I'm planing to fix them. I'm not a expect and I have looked at the SSD/ NVMe tier list, I just need help choosing a OS drive and a Game Drive as I'm also changing the MB to a Asus ROG Strix X570-I and I can see from PCpartpicker website that it supports 2 NVMe drives. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. Ah does are extensions, I would need cables that can connect directly into the PSU that are shorter then normal.
  17. Ok, thanks, also notice that the 180 connector wouldn't work anyway
  18. Hello, I'm planing to do some upgrades to my computer and move it to a Silverstone FTZ01 case, because I like the case design, The power cables that come with my Corsair SF 600 watt power supply fill a little to long and I have extra cable length at the end. I would like to know if I should buy custom cables that are shorter and if yes from who? Plus there isn't much space for the power cable for the GPU, I can get them in but would like to know if getting a u turn `80 degree angle connector is a good idea?
  19. Since they have a CPU pillow when will they make a motherboard blanket? Would be nice to have.
  20. Ya as the plan is to do this when I change my PC in 2 years I have time to look around for a shop to make it and i have time to look for a CPU/VRM water cooling piece
  21. Anothing I could do, but will need to look into it is to cool the VRM with a water block like with the CPU so that I don't need airflow there. But yes this is still i the planning phase so there will be much improvements to do.
  22. I see what you mean thanks for the information. I look over it to see what I can do for the design Ya, although i could get or make a desk and have the computer in it I don't like how the airflow is done as they don't have the air come straight out. Most likely because of the chcnace of spilling something into the outtake fans. It design is so that i can have space under it to place my keyboard when not in use and should give me a litle more deck space then just having everything next to each other. As for making it, metal is not something I can do so I would mostly just have it order. Although that may be more expensive then a normal case, I think that's normal for a custom job. As for how would do it, I be looking into more. I only started planing this out on paper first about 3 months ago and I don't plan to change my PC for another 2 years (not like there are part to buy) so I have time for that.
  23. so there are a lot of PC case that get released each year, but none really interest me. So I was think of making a custom PC case and wanted peoples input on it. The plan is to use it like the cryorig Taku, but it being width for the radiators to be on the side. To use the stack effect for getting the heat out. Budget (including currency): N.A. Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details: dimension around 350x850x150mm not final but estimat.
