  1. So how does this compare to the $1000 SE846? I tried them once last year and I thought it was the best sounding earphones ever & for an extra $200 it does come with a lot more kit AND a detachable cable
  2. Hey guys, my friend has an aging late 2011 non retina MBP with the stock 500GB 5400rpm hard drive. I noticed that her MacBook started to slow down a lot recently. i suspect the HDD is dying. She's not planning to buy a new laptop yet so I thought of upgrading the storage for her. Should I get: a) 500GB SSD b) 1TB SSHD c) 1TB traditional 7200rpm HDD The SSD is a bit overkill for her needs but I just thought it would make the MacBook last bit longer & less prone to corruption due to drops and what not. She also said that she stores all of her stuff in there and no other backup. Not even one. So I'll definitely getting her an external drive for time machine backups.
  3. B&R can easily fit a 3 day battery in their watches especially the 46mm. But knowing B&R it'll probably be more than $3000.
  4. "Tag Heuer has teamed up with Google and Intel to launch the Connected Watch, its first Android Wear timepiece. The Connected isn't just any average Android Wear watch, however. It's a $1,500 luxury timepiece clad in titanium and bearing more than a passing resemblance to Tag Heuer's analog watches." It looks good but for $1500 I think I'll stick to a real Tag Heuer. 5. Hmm for USD249 (about MYR1100 where I live) I think I'd go with the Time Steel. Or just save a bit more and get a Moto 360 2 instead,,,
  6. Source: http://www.theverge.com/2015/9/23/9372899/pebble-time-round-smartwatch-announcement-availability Pebble just launched the thinnest & lightest smartwatch at $249. The Time Round is all metal, making it more similar to the Pebble Time Steel than the less-costly plastic Time. It has a 38.5mm face, though the round display does not fill it. Instead, a large bezel surrounds the screen, which makes the effective display size much smaller. The multiple day battery life has long been a selling point for Pebble, the Time Round only has a two day battery life before needing to juice up. Pre-order starts today & ships in November.
  7. If you are one of the few people who inserted their S-pen backwards into the Note 5 & broke the S-pen sensor, there is simple DIY way to fix it. However it's not 100% guarantied. My advice to Note 5 owners: 1. Don't insert your S-pen backwards (duh) 2. If you did insert it backwards DO NOT force it out. Disassemble the phone and take it out. 8. People still camp out? I thought the only people who still do it are old Chinese ladies who buys the iPhones and reselling for a slightly higher price.

  12. Source: http://www.theverge.com/2015/8/13/9150023/nasa-wants-smartwatch-app-for-astronauts-in-space NASA is looking to capitalize on the growing smartwatch trend, and it needs your help to do so and the best app designer will receive $1500. Overall, NASA wants an app that will help keep the astronauts a little more organized — as well as one that will keep them safe.
