  1. ok will try that but if that was the issue it should go off when i play a game right? I played for 4 hours and it worked fine. I have also run a stress test with prime95 and it remained on.
  2. the pc went off when i was at work I got my brother to turn the psu off and on and it booted up however the lan drivers stopped working. Even connecting a WiFi dongle had the same issue of no internet and device status window blank. Booted into safe mode with networking and same issue there also. Did a system restore to yesterday and lan started working again. Im at a loss for words on what is wrong.
  3. Will check for bios rest all drivers are updated. After writing this post I wasn't even using the pc and it turned off again. I'm not home so can't check it.
  4. hey let me give you all a brief on the issue im facing. My Specs Windows 10 pro 64 bit AMD Ryzen 2700X Wraith CPU cooler (connected to the USB Header) Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero 16 gb ddr 4 corsair vengnace 2400mhz ram Asus Geforce 980 video card Coolermaster 1200W Platinum Psu My pc was turning off randomly, tested everything and ended up narrowing it down to my NZXT hue+ kit (lights + fans) when i would turn the lights on the pc would turn off after a while. If i didnt use the lights the system would run fine, it ran almost a month without turning off. So I thought finally figured it out its the NZXT Hue+ so went out and replaced the entire kit with Corsair LL120 X 6 and the lighting kit of corsair on Saturday. Setup everything and turned the system on and booted into windows only too find out that the controller is not being detected and after around 10 mins the system turned off again . So I then shut it down and removed the wraith cooler connected to the mobo and connected the Corsair to the same USB header. Booted back into windows and yes everything is being detected so I thought to myself finally figured out the issue its the plug on the mobo thats causing the system to power off. On sunday used the system with all the lights on and played a game on it as well for almost 4 hours and it worked perfectly. I was listening to music on Spotify and got up to open the front door and the music suddenly stopped turned around and the system had powered off again ? . I am totally lost and cant figure out what it could be. Could really use some expert help.
  5. ok cool thanks so im thinking ill go for these only.
  6. i was checking out the CORSAIR CL-9011109-WW Lighting Node PRO and the Corsair LL120 fans and just wanted to confirm what software you used to control the lights, i was reading reviews and it mentions "corsair Link" but for my keyboard and mousepad i am using Icue.
  7. ok let me check out corsair i currently do have keyboard and mousepad of corsair.
  8. hey i currently have the NZXT Hue+ which seems to be malfunctioning and causing my pc to loose power completely. I am looking to upgrade but cant decide what to get. I have a CoolerMaster Master case 5 pro case and an Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero mobo with the stock Wraith RGB cooler. My current lighting and fan config is 3 x NZXT Aer Fans at front of the case 3 x normal non RGB Fans( 2 on top and 1 at rear) 1 x RGB lighting strip Kit To upgrade I am a little confused whether to go for NZXT hue2 (3fan kit + lighting strip at 140$) and sacrifice the Aura sync or should i get something like the Antec Prizm kit which would give me 3 RGB fans + 2 lighting strips for only 60$). Also planning to upgrade the RAM and get either the Kingston RGB or Corsair RGB. That decision would also depend on which lighting kit/fans i would get.
  9. See under the kernel power do you see any other logs that look like they would have caused your issue. The kernel power is a generic log that just shows your PC turned off unexpectedly.
  10. sorry to keep bothering you all but this happened 3 times today and im really getting fed up. I will try and switch to my old 650W psu but the problem is the issue is random it sometimes happens frequently and if it doesnt happen it will run smoothly for a few days or weeks without any issues. I even tried running a stress test on the cpu and gpu and the system didnt go off. I dont want a situation where i take the effort of removing the entire psu and replacing it with the 650 one and it works for fine for a few days and I get the 1200 one replaced under warranty and i still face the same issue.
  11. check the event logs and see if anything got recorded there as to why it went off.
  12. it could be a resolution issue, after connecting it what does it show when you go to display settings and click on detect. Does it show a second monitor with any options to extend the displays?
  13. ok i do have quite a few extras though which all would be drawing power also. 3 x 4 regular pin pwm fans 3 x 3 RGB NZXT fans 1 x 250 GB SSD 1 x 2 TB 7200 RPM HDD 1 x 3 TB 7200 RPM HDD 1 x 4 TB 7200 RPM HDD 1 x 1.5 TB 7200 RPM HDD NZXT Hue lighting kit with 2 strips Logitech G560 Light Sync speakers
  14. so its most likely psu only right then will try and see if i can replace it under warranty.
  15. ok do have an old 650W corsair one but dont think it would be able to take the load of my system.
