  1. I appreciate the suggestion, but this doesn't appear to do video out of the extra USB-C port, just 100W PD power.
  2. I haven't been able to find any "dock" with a USB-C video out. It doesn't surprise me though, I'm always looking for stuff that other people tend not to care about, lol. Trying to run my Ally video into the DP in on my 14.5 inch Lenovo tablet, but also want to charge the Ally while doing so.
  3. Yeah, the problem is that I want to send video from my ROG Ally to the DP in on my Lenovo Tab Extreme. I also want to power it as well. I have an HDMI to USB-C that splits off with a USB-A (for power), but it is a bit clunky. I've found a couple of hubs that appear to do what I want, but I'm not 100% sure. I was hoping to run into someone that has experience with some of these hubs. Thank you for taking the tiime to respond though.
  4. Sorry is this is the wrong place to post. I'm looking for a USB-C hub that can do USB-C video out. In total, I need: 1 x USB-C power in. 2 x UBS-C power/video/data in/out. 2 x USB-A Not looking to break the bank, but any option would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I'm looking to run USB-C power (100W) to a hub/dock, the hub/dock to my ROG Ally, and then a USB-C cable from my Ally to the DP in on my Lenovo Tab Extreme. I know, I'm an idiot, lol.
  5. Sorry if my terminology is off, but I am looking for a consumer-grade router that can allow me to create an SSID that runs through a VPN (PIA) and a separate SSID that is 6GHz only. Not looking to break the bank, not sure where to look online. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking for the adhesive tape that Linus was using in this video to adhere the hub to his nightstand. I really need a good thin micro-suction tape for another application and it would be nice to have something I know is going to work. Any help would be great.
  7. Many thanks for keeping this alive. I just got an Apple TV and was worried I would have to AirPlay Floatplane videos. I hope Floatplane starts talks with you about making an official app. You're saving lives out here.
  8. Got a motherboard that's a little borked, currently waiting on 12th Gen so I can update my 9th Gen and the board at the same time.
  9. I know this is super old, but for anyone who ever needs to know, there is a way to do it: (33) Windows 10 21277 (ARM64) ISO w/ Galaxy Book2 drivers : GalaxyBook (reddit.com) Just use Rufus to create a Fat32 bootable USB with the ISO.
  10. Just tried Hydravion on my Fire Stick 4K, works perfectly!

Was this from the precompiled APK hosted on github, or via source itself? If the latter, I (hopefully temporarily) have all 4K requests redirect to 1080 instead. FP's bitrate is high enough that it doesn't make too much of a difference, anyhow.

  11. I recently bought fans on eBay to replace the ones on my graphics card. When they came, I installed them and they seemed to not work correctly. At the lowest preset RPM (idle), you can hear them ramp up and down a bit, as if there is an issue with the current or something. I placed my old ones back in and they ran fine, that is when I checked the back of both sets of fans and saw there was a difference in the amps. My original fans are 12V .55a, the new ones are 12V .35a, could this potentially be an issue? Is there something I should be doing when switching to these fans or are they likely just defective? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
  12. I would love to see a real Tablet Mode in Windows, it would make the Surface Pro so much better.
  13. There are already videos of people running Windows on ARM on the 2020 iPad Pro using UTM. You can also run it on the M1 MacBook. All you have to do to get Windows on ARM is be a member of the Windows Insider Program. It’s pretty easy.
  14. I just received mine today. Here are my benchmarks. Been answering questions all day. https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/nd76x3/look_what_came_early_score_one_for_nfm/ https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/nda29q/my_129_ipad_pro_antutu_geekbench_results/
  15. I'm currently trying this out now. I just downloaded the .apk from google play through chrome and installed it on the shield and it crashes every time I try to start it. In order to grab them, just go to https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ and then paste the web address of the Google Play page for that app. Did you ever get it to work on yours?
