thedemoncowboy got a reaction from gloop in Pretty sure Acer got my review on Amazon banned.
I've been an avid Amazon prime member for 7 years now. I have reviewed hundreds of products and been incredibly thorough. Two weeks ago, I posted (I've exchanged quite a lot of monitors in 6 months), and never complained in a review if the box was damaged, or the package arrived late.
My review of the Acer X35 was the top rated review. I provided on all 8 of my orders/re-orders feedback regarding the monitor. When I received the last one and updated it which I indicated that there was hair behind the display, I woke up to an email banning me from posting reviews on amazon.com. I have since reached out to Amazon community services, called, and emailed with no luck as to why my reviews were removed, or this one in particular. I asked if Acer got involved with no response. I have also reached out to Acer with emails and phone calls prior for service (which I wrote about) not being the greatest, and they too would not respond.
I don't think for a $2,499.99 monitor, that it should have dead pixels, horizontal banding, black light bleeding, or colors so inaccurate it makes you sick to look at. I just figured I'd share my response here as I'm unable to post about my experiences with monitors. But felt it odd that a day after I reviewed with another monitor with another issue, my account was locked and post removed from that one.

I definitely gave it a 1/5 and was “most helpful” review. Then as soon as I wrote about my latest experience everything was deleted my previous post was over two months prior

thedemoncowboy got a reaction from Aashirbad Thapa in My review of my Maingear PC experience with pics
Seldom do I feel the need to express a job well done, but in this instance Maingear exemplified my journey of finding and building my perfect dream pc.
Initially our conversations concluded early due to a miscommunication, which then resulted in me purchasing from another company. Digital storm, which in reality — can not even be considered in the same arena as Maingear.
However, not happy with the quality and overall experience (I.e, missing components, broken glass, case, and post support). I wanted to make things right to be able to purchase from my company which vicariously reminds me of my obsession with Pagani.
When speaking and alleviating past conversations it was evident that it was mere miscommunication and we were able to move on amicably.
Wallace the owner of Maingear was proud of his craft and for a very good reason, build quality, delivery, and post purchase support is exceptional and essentially perfect.
The process did not take long approximately 28 days. Wallace along with his team, Jake, Nick, Warley, and Daniel were cognizant of my OCD tendencies and guided my build accordingly to the best outcome for being obsessive regarding products.
I was able to completely customize my “Ghost f131 edition” with gold fittings, Black liquid, and my own customized graphic that I had designed in front.
The shipping process went smoothly, and was incredibly well packaged on a crate with a cone stating nothing could be on the box.
My pc arrived only displaying 1024 x 768 on dual SLI, so that was incorrect ... trouble shooting I called in and had support re-download my drivers and found out my SLI bridge was disconnected ... but helped me get through it!
I would highly recommend Maingear and they will be the only place I want to purchase from.
Thanks Team!

ok, we gotta turn down the volume of the name-calling. personal attacks don't promote a discussion, they get closed down.
a reminder of our Community Standards:
anymore ruckus or commotion, we'll just close the thread.

I always felt like the 'master race' part of it sounded a little....ok sounds very bad. Who else likes to say they're 'master race'...yeah bad connotations there.

thedemoncowboy reacted to Video Beagle in Pcmaster race toxic?
I thought it was a Yahtzee thing! Then finding out that there were other people using the term confused me.
some areas maybe, but lots of it is just fine. (Daystrom Institute is a lovely little area...if you're into hard core Trektech geekery)
...reddit is rude so you send them to a chan board? Seriously?

thedemoncowboy reacted to jiyeon in Pcmaster race toxic?
Reddit's upvoting and downvoting system makes for some hardcore karma farmers, and as a result, their mindset is solely focused on that.
I wouldn't use 'PC Master Race' in any serious conversation because it is a joke-ish label for PC gamers and it's all preference, but Reddit does take it very seriousy.

Reddit certainly doesn't help, but yes, the people that take the whole "PCMR" seriously are a pack of morons, hell there are some on this forum as well.

Right click on desktop and go to NVIDIA control panel.
Under Display > Change resolution, you should be able to see the refresh rate. Change it there.
Hit save.
If you do not see 144hz, in 3. Apply the following settings. > mark "Use NVIDIA color settings.
In Output color format select YCbCr422. Hit Apply.
