  1. Well if your cooler isn't working, my guess is its overheating and the blue screen is saving your CPU. Do you have everything plugged in?
  2. If it is that sensitive, You could adjust the mic threshold in the audio settings. This will cutoff what it is sending to discord/game to a certain volume.
  3. On Seagate's website it does give a pretty decent explanation on what it covers and how long. Like I said, the process is claimed to be extremely long and painful but it did seem to work. This @Vishera guy seems pretty educated and has moved me to research other drives for when the time comes to replace my current drive. WD is great! give them a go! I just don't take the Hard Drive market too seriously as most drives are fairly close. @xD Power Hole Stick
  4. Honestly, to give it to you straight, the Rescue plan through seagate is usually around two years but you can pay for more. There are mixed reviews about the process and whether they can recover the data or not. Ive never had to do any of this and I have had this drive for over year (used for a little over a year before me. It was a friends drive.) Do your own research and make an educated claim. @xD Power Hole Stick
  5. I guess I personally haven't had any problems with my seagate drive. I like this video. Louis Rossman FTW
  6. They're pretty much all the same as far as speed and durability. Hard Drives have been around for too long. @xD Power Hole Stick
  7. I use Asrock B450m-HDV. This is a m-ATX board; however, I use a fairly large case which helps fits it all. @nnnnnnnadie
  8. Plan on using this CPU for anything more than gaming?
  9. Noctua NH-D15 is a very powerful cooler. It MIGHT be a little overboard, but you wont have to worry about that CPU getting hot edit: this is not $60
  10. If you feel confident that the cooler feels compatible, then go for it. My suggestion is if you get to a point where you feel that you're forcing something then I would stop. (I'm just restating common sense, but you'd be surprised of the stupid stuff I have done).
  11. I guess I read differently. That is why we are here, to learn
  12. AC Odyssey is a game that takes advantage on multiple cores and has been said that 4 cores is just not enough for such a game. GTA is kind of the same way but less severe. Most likely your core count (not single threaded performance) is affecting your smooth gameplay.
  13. A Ryzen 2200G or Athlon 200GE are perfect options as they are cheaper than $100, and the motherboards can stay cheap but reliable as you don't need them to overclock. RAM prices are not too bad and you don't need anything intense for a home server!
  14. Look when I tell you this, you are going to think I am insane. My favorite upgrade by far to my super budget PC is throwing a SATA SSD drive in there and installing a fresh set of windows. Watching those boot times were so satisfying compared to my old HDD. This is just an example, however, NVME M.2 drives are widely popular with even better RW Speeds. That is my next upgrade and it is totally worth the switch
