As for overclocking the I9 9900K i think the limit intel have pushed is already high enough overclocking the I9 900K will just push up temps more.

OK so no big reason to upgrade GPU in your opinion?
The GTX 1070 is still a fantastic GPU.. i normaly skip a gen for example if i was you and had a gtx 1070 i would skip the RTX 2070 and only buy after that.. Unless you need a New GPU there is no point in my opinion.. if your hitting your desired FrameRate and your still happy with the GTX 1070 I would just keep it. Hope That Helps Answer Your Question
Any Question Just Ask i will try and help the best i can

Is that not saying one is better than the other? What if AMD was 10x better at everything at a cheaper price? Would you still only say AMD if you're on a budget?
Very true. Good point. You could get a 12 core TR for near the same price as a 9900K.
Not really im saying one is more expensive and one is cheaper so you think the cost of a product defines it. Also the OP never stated which one he was looking into hence R3 R5 R7 for amd and Intel I3 I5 I7 i9.

That's a pretty dumb statement. AMD is the better choice in a lot of cases where money isn't a factor.
Maybe if you said Intel if all you do is game, AMD if gaming isn't your number one priority.
Did i say one was better than the other nope i said clearly Intel if the OP had money and if on a budget AMD

Intel If you have the cash amd if your cash is restricted simple

As to the OP Question the I9 9900K is the best Gaming CPU At the Moment and is incredable if you do some rendering...All in all if you have the cash then splash
