I'm running a 1080ti, i7-7700, 16 of ram, and a shitty 60 FPS monitor that I obviously need to upgrade, that's why I was aiming for that 240hz. Also, could you please elaborate number 3 more? And out of the two monitors mentioned above, which one would u recommend best? ty for replying btw

Hey, all In a scenario where a monitor refresh rate is faster than the in-game FPS, what would be the result and how showing will be the problem? For example, the BenQ XL2546 doesn't support G-sync as far as I know, instead its selling point is the DyAc technology that has as to my understanding nothing to do with refresh rates or FPS but instead reduction of movement blus. If i were to game on that monitor with a rig that couldn't push 150+ FPS on some games: 1- How is that going to affect the overall smoothness of display? 2- Will V-sync be of any help in situations like these? (doubt it but need reassurance) 3- Would you recommend the BenQ XL2540 (Supports G-sync) Instead for that specific situation? 4- What's my best option here? Awaiting you answers..
